They're popular for a reason, the service was as warm and welcoming as the ramen. The servings were generous and the server was knowledgeable and made flexibility for my son's allergies which I very much appreciated. The interior was a perfect Japanese vibe with many seating options and the chef's were churning out immaculate dishes as we were lucky to be near the pass. Highly recommended for casual dining, hearty drinking and a good time.
We had dinner here on our last day before heading home on August 12. Food and atmosphere was great. Hands down best wait staff and manager made it possible for us to eat outside near the entrance. Extremely busy and was really packed but took our concerns seriously as we weren’t comfortable in close contacts since a family member has bad asthma and didn’t want to take extra risks. Thanks for ending our day/trip on a high note!
This place is awesome, definitely make reservations. The tapas style served here leads to lightning fast service and sharing of all foods, a perfect way to explore and sample different dishes. The atmosphere on the inside looks great too. I can't recommend this place enough!Food: 5/5
Spent the night of Dec 23 at the bar with Sarah. Nothing beats the minus 20C cold like warm sake, hot noodles and a great bartender that explained how she was making the drinks. Will visit every time I go back to Whistler.Food: 5/5
Really like this place. Great for vegan's and vegetarians, so many options. BAO buns were great. Vegan miso soup is awesome! The salmon vegan dish was so unique, not my favorite but really appreciate how different it is. Sushi tacos I would order once but then never again. We didn't really like them but seriously where you going to find a Japanese taco? Brussel sprouts were crazy good strongly recommend those and the rocking roll was delicious. This is owned by the same company as oyama Raman so if you don't want a sushi dish you can order Raman too from here. What a great place, glad we visited.
Yet another AHmazing delicious and super fresh vegan meal at Harajuku Izakaya! I can’t say enough about this place and the staff that work there - Megan and her teammates are so very lovely and truly want to make every dining experience for every guest a truly memorable one! Highly recommend when in Whistler! +
Had fun dining at Harajuku! The menu was diverse and the baos were AMAZING! Would definitely recommend trying the baos
After a long day of driving, I was looking for some sushi, and I was hoping Harajuku was the answer, I was wrong. I like that they check for vaccinations, but it went downhill from there. The chicken karake was ok, nothing to wow you with, sushi was on the bad side, may as well get them from T&T, I guess there’s none in the area. The BBQ pork ramen, the bbq pork was ok, the noodles was cooked in the broth so it got some of the miso flavour, but the noodles was not the fresh ones, it’s the kind similar to instant noodles, why would one pay almost $20 for it. Service was also disappointing, no chopsticks or fork for the ramen, and waited forever for water and bill. Maybe it’s covid, they are a little short staffed, but my experience was less than satisfied
The food was fresh and tasted great, and the interior seating is cute. Portions are small though and it's pricy, but to be expected for Whistler.
New to Whistler and I was expecting my new colleagues to bring me to some Canadian Restaurants. To my surprise, I was brought to this Japanese Resto. Well, no regrets at all.. I love all the foods we ordered feels good to be back in Asia Nice ambiance and excellent customer service too. We’ll definitely come back!
