This is the classic hidden gem. A star pastry chef from a Michelin restaurant decides to run their own place their way. The quiche was the fluffiest, lightest most amazing I have ever eaten. Better than those I’ve had in AIX or Nice or Paris. The croissant are quintessentially French. Their famous egg pastry wasn’t yet being made at 8:20am, so I will be back another weekend to try them. Wow !
It was a pass through stop on a road trip and we couldn't have randomly parked in a better place! A small crowd of very excited people gathered in the doorway as we got out of the car. I could see a small bakery cabinet so we curiously entered. OMG... THE BEST most beautiful goods I have seen since forever. Since maybe culinary school. STUNNING! Even better than that, they were DELICIOUS! We bought at least one of everything, at a very fair price. My friend LOVED the berry and the chocolate pastries. I LOVED the almond one the most and our eyes popped out of our heads over the incredible height of the croissants. BTW the height was true and proper flaky buttery croissant, not air and was such a joy to eat. We got there around 1p on a Saturday and it seemed they were still baking small batches of the 4 offerings in the case. The owner was working the counter too, you can tell he is passionate about what he does. It was quick service, a fun convo and an impressive spot to add to my RETURN HERE list. BTW... grab an "extra" pastry and a napkin for the ride home... you'll be glad you did.
What a gem! The pastries are incredible. 100% worth the calories. Coffee was good nicely roasted espresso, but the milk was more foam than silk in the latte, but the baked goods are the true stars. Well worth a detour if you’re traveling to the Olympics or taking the ferry from Seattle.
The best croissant I have ever had, maybe the best anywhere. What you say? Have I ever been to France? Why yes I have. You will find my wife or me in line here every Sunday Morning. Usually a croissant for me, something for her and something fun to share. Sanding in line when it is cold and drizzly? Not a problem.
We are always in search of good baked goods, and especially croissants, so we drove all the way from Tacoma. It was definitely worth it and the Stumptown coffee was also excellent. I love that you can only get a regular espresso drink, no flavors, and the only milk they have is dairy. It's not so great for the lactose intolerant but otherwise I LOVE the simplicity. The same goes for the pastries -- as a person with ADHD I always appreciate less choices.
Ham & Cheese Crossaint was so buttery, flakey and light. You have to get there early otherwise it sell out!
Most excellent coffee, and tasty treats. Thank you very much Saboteur bakery
Wow. What a find in Mannette. Expert level pastries that will please anyone. Welcoming industrial atmosphere where you are in line and in the kitchen too. The closest thing I've ever tasted was in Paris. The quiche and brioche were amazing with premium ingredients. Service was great and they have coffee/Espresso. Prices were fair. Parking was easy. Everytime I'm in town I'll be stopping by.
Earthy, hands-on, “rough around the edges,” bakery with fabulous quiche and other pastries. Best in Bremerton. Great service at the front counter at this quaint little bakery. Five stars.
Absolutely love this place! Have to get there early because they sell out of things. Spent about $33 for 6 pastries.
