Visited as travelers just driving through on a Saturday morning. This is a small town cafe and we were looking for a quick breakfast. We noticed as we walked in the door that they encourage online reviews, as they advertised checking in right on the front window. Short version: waitress is kind, food service is extremely slow, and the food is mediocre. Long version: We arrived at 9:15am and we're seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and took our orders in a timely fashion. There were 4 of us; 2 adults and 2 children. We ordered the following 1- French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon 2- French toast and bacon 3- Cinnamon roll special pancakes with a side of sausage 4- Scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. We noticed the table across from us (4 adults) were finally receiving their food, we'll 3 of them. One person waited and additional 5-10 minutes for their pancake breakfast. The couple seated in the middle, who arrived before us, hadn't ordered. A large table of maybe 8 people or so hadn't ordered before us either. Not sure what the hold up was. We didn't get our food until nearly 9:50, well over 30 minutes after ordering. This is not a large establishment, so it's not like they had 20 orders ahead of us. We were hoping to be in and out (as we needed to be somewhere close by at 10). The food was mediocre. Not the good old home town cafe cooking we were hoping for. Eggs were an egg substitute and not cooked all the way through. The bacon was the thin, precooked, paper-like bacon you find in the unrefrigerated section at Sams Club/Costco. We were in such a hurry to eat and leave that we didn't even take pictures for your viewing pleasure. When we went to pay, the waitress took 20% off our bill without us even complaining. She must of know the food or food service was lacking.

It was my first time there this morning. I found it be be very friendly and the good was great!!! will differently go again and i recommend it...Stop by!

Lovely small town diner. Sue and her crew are always friendly, and the food is excellent.
