I would give them 10 stars! They have created beautiful and delicious cupcakes and cakes for many of our important family events. From a baby shower to birthdays and of course our wedding, we always choose Ryke’s!!
Ryke’s catered our wedding years ago, and we were absolutely happy with how everything turned out. They have excellent service and delicious food, and we definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great caterer. We also love Ryke’s for their bakery and cafe; whether we’re popping in really quick for a donut, cheese dip, or even one of their pre-made cakes for a special occasion, their staff is always welcoming and helpful, and their food is amazing.
Ryke's Holland, MI stepped in to save the day after I faced a last minute crisis with another local bakery! I spoke with Kiara on the phone and she was so kind, patient, professional, and knowledgeable when it came to placing my order. When I picked up the order, the team members were so incredibly friendly and helpful! The design on the cakes turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I ordered 3 cakes and they coordinated the color palette to match the 1970s theme and each other perfectly! The cakes were so moist, flavorful and delicious. All of our guests really enjoyed their first piece and some even went back for seconds! Thanks again so much for such a wonderful experience, it really helped to make my parent's 70th Birthday Celebration special!
I was looking for a hard to find ingredient and they had it. No questions asked they hooked me up! Kayto and the team really helped me out! The food is excellent!!! I wish I could give them higher than 5 Stars!!!
RYKE'S GHWe were excited to try 5 different cupcakes and several cookies for a st.paddys day celebration but unfortunately was very disappointed.They were all too dry to eat, with the exception of the cherry filled cookie..it was excellent! I was going to order a cake but so glad I didn't now! Won't be back.
Oh my! Once again a place in Muskegon surprise me! This is the best bakery I think I have ever been to. It even beats Arnies in Grand Rapids. that being said it's kinda an apples and oranges thing Arnies has a much larger menu But this place does serve sandwiches and soups as well. It is the baked goods that blows me away. I had a Bavarian cream long John. Most places inject the cream. Here it is cut in half and spread thickly on the inside. This was seriously cheating on my diet, I will likely pay for it with extra insulin later. The cream horns looked astounding The cupcakes looked amazing. I can't say I even glanced at the soup and sandwiches, the other side kept ma attention. by the way this building used to be a dairy, and the dining area has photos about that
I was not happy with the selection of dozen donuts I purchased. I bought 2 dozen donuts asked for a variety, out of 24,donuts I only received 2 long John’s, it seemed I got more of the cheaper donuts than I did of the $1.75, paid $30 dollars including tax, when I asked to take 2 others out and replace with 2 long John’s I was charged extra, I will NOT be back to Rykes bakery any time soon.!!
Ryke's Bakery is THE BEST bakery in Muskegon. You know there's something special going on when you get a cake for an event and the first question people ask is, "did you get it from Ryke's?" And then when you say yes they get excited. The buttercream icing is very good and they make a whipped icing that is also incredible and that means a lot coming from me because I don't normally like whipped icing... Also, their cafe burritos are my favorite! I look forward to those returning to the menu.
I’ve had doughnuts, cupcakes, and muffins here! The blueberry doughnut, the strawberry muffin, and cherry chip cupcake are my favorites! Service has always been very friendly! They also serve food, which is very good! *** EDIT- bought 12 cupcakes 4/2/21 and all of them were slightly over baked. They were not soft and fluffy like usual. Hopefully this is not the new standard. However the customer service was fantastic! ***
Stopped here on our way to traverse City to pick up a donut & cream puff for the road! Delicious!! They have all of the favorites and more, as well as wraps and sandwiches! They cater too! My only suggestion would be to have some chairs outside!!
