Morats bakery, was like a small slice of heaven. Biggest cinnamon rolls I've ever seen. The spinach savory pastry was my favorite. We even got freshly baked dog treats for Chewy.
HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Drop the microphone .... After Reading an article about the best donut around, the wife and I decided to go there and try it. I ordered the Apple Fritter and have never had some thing so fluffy and flavorful. I almost passed out when I noticed the BIG CHUNKS OF APPLES in the fritter. It seems like nobody does that anymore. We both decided to share each other’s.... and the chocolate On top of the Long John was truly AMAZING along with the creamy filling. Moving forward it will only be Morats Bakery in our future.
Good place to get donuts and a few other items, if your early. They sell out of items often. Service is good and they are quick. Small space to eat inside but not for large groups, best to take it to go. They do catering.
Very kind! They let us come in as they were closing and they were happy to help. A nice selection of breads and baked treats I purchased a carrot cake slice with free baked good smells of course. Parking is free on the street and in a lot nearby.
Now open at 820 Terrace and they have the good stuff! Breads, donuts, pastries, strudel, as well as coffee, an oat mill and places to sit. Another bonus for us downtown residents: they have a cooler with some staples like milk, eggs, OJ and butter.
Morat’s made my wedding cake and cupcakes for my wedding 7/10/21. They were so beautiful and the decorator did such a good job with the succulents and colors we wanted. The lemon cake was so moist and the raspberry filling is always delicious and fresh. Our guests loved them! Carolee came and set them up for us and they looked amazing. Also obsessed with their English muffin bread and donuts!
Love Morat's English Muffin bread. Am very thankful it is available in Muskegon. Also bakery has friendly staff and a good selection of baked goods.
Went here for the feta dip and some bread. Once again they were out. Third time.... that's really disappointing. The donut selection was a bit used looking as well. The jalapeno cheddar bread was fresh and good as a sandwich and with just butter.
Since I found this bakery I will not buy doughnuts anywhere else.i am extremely impressed with the selection of pastries, brèads and cookies. I highly recommend going there but unfortunately their only open 4 days a week.
Fantastic bread and pastries. Incredibly friendly staff and the best dog treats at the drive up window. A must try if in Muskegon.
