Story

Welcome to RV City. Thank you for visiting us. The RV City team has been in the business of serving families since 1968. RV City and Jayco's tagline “Generations of Family” embodies all aspects of our business. We are proud to assist our clients and their families with enjoying the RV’ing lifestyle.

Our story started in St. Albert where our founders Garry and Brent Hodgins started with an RV and automotive repair shop business. In 1979 we moved to our present location – Morinville, Alberta. The move to Morinville allowed us to increase our facilities as well as our product offerings. Back in ’79 our lot was about 3 acres and we had 10 team members. Our small family business has grown with the support of our many clients and the dedication of our team members – for these efforts we are sincerely grateful.

In 1998 we celebrated our 30th Anniversary with over 60 employees and a lot that had grown to nearly 20 acres. Our sister company Frontier Honda had moved into a stand-alone facility on the south side of our lot to better serve our automotive clientele. With this transition we increased our ability to service our RV clients by adding 12 additional service bays – offering professional detailing capabilities as well as a dedicated facility for reconditioning pre-owned units.

RV City’s Parts and Service Facility, our 3rd building, looks after the needs of our sales department, warranty adjustments, accessory installations, hitch packages, insurance and retail work. In 2002, we are once again expanding to better serve our clients by adding 4 additional specialty service bays to our RV Body Shop and by offering 2 indoor delivery bays. This provided RV City with a total of 20 operational service bays.

2015/2016 RV City expanded in Morinville. Our sister company St. Albert Honda (formerly Frontier Honda) moved operations to St. Albert. This move allowed RV City to expand our facilities. The expansion includes additional inventory display space, a state of the art detailing and reconditioning facility, staff workout room, offices for marketing a support personnel along with an expanded location for JLS Designs (company that offers decalling and signage for our companies).

In November 2016, RV City opened it's second location in Leduc, AB. RV City South, located at 7610 Sparrow Drive, Leduc, AB.
