really enjoyed this places noodles and their scallion pancakes are definitely the best I've ever had. kinda disappointed in the spicy broth as it was not flavorful, only spicy, but the regular broth was delightful. beef was so nice and tender and loved the portions.
I’ve been a couple times and tried out most of there noodle offerings. The regular none spicy noodle soup packs a ton of flavor, spicy beef and spicy hot pot is amazing, great for spice lovers. The picture is the roast duck cold noodle. I gotta say they are fabulous! All of the noodles have really nice balance in flavors. I’m already drooling to go back
Very tasty noodles here. Noodle texture is perfect and the broth is super flavorful. Great price for the portion. There’s so much more on the menu and they all sound so good! I will for sure be back to try more.
We came here for lunch on a Wednesday and ate in the restaurant. It's a small place with tons of food options. I had the vegetarian hand pulled noodles and the chicken egg roll. The noodle dish was packed with veggies and broth, but the broth was very lacking in flavor in my opinion which could be the nature of the dish so i felt like I needed to add soy and Sriracha to pump it up. The egg roll was really the star of the show however - it was delicious, flavorful, and super fresh. Very affordable prices and kept me full for a long time.
Excellent noodles and even better broth. This place stands out among the sea of Asian restaurants on State Street. Spicy hotpot noodles are quite spicy but it is quite addictive. It is one of those places that you’d want to visit over and over and try everything on the menu.
Love the pork buns and the spare rib noodles from here! I’ve also tried the roast duck noodles but I wasn’t a huge fan of that one since it was mainly bones and not a lot of meat
New review: 2nd time here, I specifically asked for the Shrimp Cold Noodles & the employee even pointed to that on the menu to confirm. I ended up getting the noodle soup, there hand pulled. Only reason I didn't say anything was well I didn't try it so I figured not saying anything. I should've. The Shrimp was highly overcooked, the noodles were mediocre at best. I understand the laungage barrier here but seriously? Walked out still hungry. 1st experience: Had a craving for some Asian cuisine & was downtown so I figured try a place I've never been. Got the shrimp cold noodles & a chicken egg roll. I'm impressed. Seems Authentic well if most of the customers are Asian that's a clear sign, good service, nice little place. The noodles are really good & the shrimp are a nice size, not the small kind like at so many restaurants. Whatever sauce that's on the noodles are it's great. Tastes fresh & nothing artificial like at some Asian restaurants, which I'm not naming. When it comes to the egg rolls I'm real picky. But here it's amazing, not the best I've had but really really close, it's the 2nd best I've ever had. If it's not made in house they fooled me, tastes fresh. I always try to find something to knock or complain about & here I thought it would be the size of the portion because it seems small but it's filling. The 1 thing is, it's the plastic dishes, bowls, plastic silverware. If it's a to go order I can understand. It's hard to impress me when it comes to any restaurant. I'm probably one of the pickiest people but I don't show it because I've worked in the restaurant business before. But this place is a must go to. I wish I came here sooner. Been living here 3+ years & finally tried this place. Do not sleep on this place if you have walked past 100's of times like I have. Stop in.
Absolutely delicious! 10/10, I got the spicy hot pot with rice noodles. Added a splash of soy sauce and it was perfect.
Pros - hand pull noodles are great Cons - other dishes taste like heating up frozen food; paper plates plastic bowl.
I’m a big fan of soup and now that the season is approaching, I decided to stop by for the first time in a long while. The serving seems to have gotten smaller and the portion of meat was lacking. I always appreciate the homemade noodles, but the broth has been only so-so in my experiences. I prefer spicy, and the spicy beef definitely gives the heat that I’m looking for. Decent meal, but I wouldn’t travel far for this.
