Russell Memorial Park and Campground

Very updated park with numerous playgrounds, event shelters, brick outhouse, no flush but dosnt smell and stocked volleyball court, a basketball court, a nice long beach along lake arbutis, 2 nice boat landings, and a nice camp ground. The water is green with algae bloom in late summer, though not too bad.

Sandy Beach, shallow, gradual lake for swimming, nice playground, lots of parking, open picnic tables, trees for shade, multiple shelters, flush toilets, showers and changing rooms, an ice cream stand and general store, boat landing with parking for trailers, lots of campsites.

Super nice beach, the bottom isn't squishy or rocky. It gets kind of busy on the weekends but weekdays are nice and relaxing. Have not used camping amenities at all but I see RVs and tents. They have covered picnic areas, outhouses, rinse off stations, a basketball court, a couple of playgrounds. Great place for family time.

Nice place. We had a group of 62 family members. It's nice to have bathrooms with showers throughout the campground. There were no problems with any of the electric hookups, which is always good. We'll be back next year!

It's okay. The beach is barely existent. The bathrooms are very outdated and sketchy as the doors have second locks since the first ones don't lock. I think there is only one shower area I haven't been in it yet. The view from the waterfront site was worth it at 31 dollars for the Saturday. The sites are very reasonably priced. I dont think this would be a bad spot for a cheap getaway but keep your expectations aligned with the price.

Great park. Nice clean facilities. Plenty of stuff to do for the kids. Neat little beach spreads out nicely along the shore. Great to pull up a boat or take a dip. Easy to use landing it's a little steep considering the sloping beach. But in the no wake area it's handy. Love to go back! Can't wait.

We had a great stay here. There was an issue with our initial reservations. The staff found us a great lake front site and were very helpful. Great staff!!

Alot to do in the area. Nice mountain bike area 3 miles from campground. Nice beach. Busy on the weekend mostly young families. Pretty quiet for the amount of people.

Great place if you don't mind the ATV activity all around you even at night. Camp is well kept and updated with good size sites. I will definitely come back.

Use to have a nice camping experience but this time extremely disappointed. Absolutely no respect from other campers. No quiet time enforcement. Loud parties past midnight, kids urinating out doors and campers passing thru my site with no respect of my occupancy.
