A quiet place, no mosquitoes, small sites and less than luxurious washrooms. $39 a night for a space with electricity and water. Lots of shade under a full canopy. Staff was friendly and full of information. A good place to crash for a night while traveling. The phone booth doesn't work but there is good cell service.

This is the most gorgeous campsite I've ever been to in my life! The tall trees remind me of Muir Woods. It's like being in a forest. Every RV site has a picnic table and trashcan. Our picnic table was filthy even after sweeping, so we used tablecloths over the table and benches. We lucked out when we didn't make reservations far enough in advance. All other campsites in Vancouver and Portland area were booked and I left messages with several RV parks. Dan returned my call and reserved the last spot for us. I feel sad to leave because our future reservations aren't in as nice accommodations. We'll definitely return in the future. Caveat: there is no laundromat. Also, I learned from another camper (most likely a tent camper) that the showers didn't have hot water one morning and the office hadn't opened yet.

Ive never stayed there as an adult. My Grandfather bought the land...cleared the trees and built this campground. Back then it was called Maple Crest Campground. 15ish years ago i walked through and was quite saddened by what i saw. There were more spaces than there were originally and it looked more like a homeless camp. I have not walked through since. I should so i can see if it looks better now.

We love staying here. The hosts are friendly and the spots are beautiful. The fir trees are huge and shade every site.

The staff was very rude, and completely unhelpful! Its supposed to be a campsite but if your r.v is not a 2000 or newer you are not alowed to camp, why ? My r.v is an 1989 however its very nice, had only one owner and kept in excellent shape but for some reason im not welcome because of this. Fine but is that cause to be rude with me?
