Front office was not helpful. They created a simple task into an ordeal which resulted into an unsuccessful trip. Not a pleasant experience.

Quality care was far from what my mother was given . My mother has chronic pancreatitis and will have painful episodes/ flare ups, this is all in her medical records. I took her in last night because she started to have a flare up after she ate, we got to the hospital at approx 11pm. The gentlemen with glasses at the front counter who checks you in was so rude! I could clearly tell he did not want to be at work , that is not my fault nor my mother's. Our wait time to get back to a room was fast , the only reason Rush Copley Yorkville deserves 1 star. My mothers doctor comes into the room and had absolutely NO bedside manners. He is speaking to us knowing my mother didn't have any tests yet, we had just gotten to her room . My mother had been hospitalized 2 - 3 weeks prior for her pancreatitis and was diagnosed was pancreatic insufficiency, he brought up her lab results From 2/3 weeks ago and said they were fine. How a physician can bring up lab results From 2/3 weeks ago knowing lab results can change on a daily basis and trying to say she was fine was very surprising to me. My mother's blood was drawn and she was given some pain medicine and nausea medicine. Our doctor (Doctor Rodriguez) comes back into the room with the same attitude and starts your lab results are all fine and starts lecturing my mother that they are an emergency room and not her primary care and they can't prescribe her narcotics ( not once did I or my mother ask her any kind of pain medication or narcotics) it was very clear the emergency rooms doctors assumptions when he was evaluating my mom. I brought up to the doctor what my mother's previous physician told her before his practice moved. Pancreatitis will not always show up on labs , and that my mother can feel the flare up before it will show in her labs . His response ? " I know" . THEN WHY WERE WE TREATED SO POORLY? I asked the doctor for my mother's discharge papers and then he brings up to my mother she was treated with narco before and asked my mother if she would like SOME NARCO ! I was so disgusted he was labelling my mother as a junky, I could not believe a physician would do that. My mother told him no I just want to go home IN TEARS. I am so disappointed in Rush Copley Yorkvilles treatment I will never take my daughter nor mother there ever again. I read some of the advertisement in the room about rush Copley and most of everything I read had CARE in it .Where was the care for my mother ? Not sure where it was. So disappointed and disgusted my taxes pay for unethical care and treatment to innocent people.

Always clean and friendly. Never had to wait very long to be seen. The doctors are amazing.
