Great food and fair prices. I hope the community continues to support this restaurant. I know our family will and keep ordering take out. The restaurant is small but comfortable for dining is as well.
Best meal we’ve had out so n a long time. So excited to have this quality of restaurant in our little town. Our food was fresh, cooked to perfection and such great flavour. We will be back very soon.
Most enjoyable meal out we have had in a long time, prices are crazy cheap. my wife had surf and turf she loved it I had the wings amazing definitely would recommend this place to any and everyone. this is now our Fri nite out dining spot. Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly as we had 2 kids with us. 1 of our children is special needs they were very accommodating , food was amazing
Our experience at Rumis resto and chocolate bar was AMAZING!!! They were committed to great service and incredibly friendly! The quality of the food was top tier, and the atmosphere was perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious, affordable & worth every single penny! We ordered the jambalaya, calamari rings, wings & French fries and every meal was cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavour! Definitely coming back here regularly, I can’t wait to try out more items on the menu!
We've enjoyed Rumis about 4 or 5 times since they opened and everything has been delicious! So far we've had the Mac and cheese, chicken strips with onion rings, Chipotle burger, classic poutine, blushing lobster pasta, chicken and shrimp pad Thai spicy and amazing, deep fried platter, taquitos, bruschetta, rice balls,spinach dip, spinach and Goat cheese wrap...I'm certain I'm forgetting something and guaranteed we will be trying more off the menu! Such a great addition to our little town! Service is always great- we've only done take out. In fairness, the wait has been more than 15 minutes each time BUT I am certain it'll will get faster when they get more staff. And it's definitely worth the wait!
A small quaint restaurant. Tables are geared for 2 per so if you arrive with more than 2 in your party be prepared to put a number of tables together. Menu selection is fine lots to choose from. Chose to have dinner here on Saturday as highly recommended. It was not busy - well with the exception of takeout orders being called in. Ordered appetizer to share along with a main meal each, plus beverages. Giving a 3 star rating for the following reasons followed by recommendations 1 Appetizer was brought out,and waitress walked away without offering or asking if side plates were needed. we had to ask for a side plate for each guest.- would suggest table servers ask if side plates will be required 2 At the same time the appetizer was brought out a members main meal was brought thus not allowing the member to fully enjoy either appetizers or their meal before it become cold. - would suggest table servers to ask if main meals are to be brought at same time or prefer to wait until appetizers are done 3 two party members ordered fries as their side choice with their meal. fries came out cold. It was almost as if they were sitting in the basket for quite some time before being utilized on a customers plate. - ensure all is hot and fresh 3 Ribs. Cold and tough. No steak knife provided only butter knife It was also request for ribs to be honey garlic to which they were not. The ribs came out with a spoonful of bbq sauce lightly spread on the top rack nothing on bottom rack. - suggest steak knife be provided with ribs and perhaps be either pre-boiled before cooking or cook at a lower temperature before storing awaiting a customers orders 4 while we were there, the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed with take out orders. When the orders were brought from the kitchen they were tossed on the counter to where a waitress would open the containers to see what the meals were and then Have to verify against print out - suggest item be written on top of container which would reduce number of times a customers dinner is open before they actually receive it. 5 no checking on beverage refills 6 waited approximately 15 upon finishing for the bill or even dishes to be take. Away which in the end had to go to the counter requesting to pay our bill. Will have to decide long and hard if or when we may return. Parking: Side street in front of restaurant
Had Rumi’s in Elmvale for the first time tonight! We ordered the chicken souvlaki and French beef dip, along with a French onion soup. The Greek salad that comes with it was the best salad I’ve in a long time! More importantly, It is an amazing change, to have such a great restaurant in Elmvale! Food was delicious and abundant in size! Great service and a nice clean environment.
Not the best option for take out. Dining in may be better. Food orders have been mixed up a couple of times. Quality of the food ingredients used, etc is quite good and nice to have variety in our small town.
Went in on their first day soft opening. Our choices were limited because of that, but they are full on now. Service was great, and so is the food the nachos in the pics were ours. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Food was delicious. Lobster and crab dip. Yum! Beef tenderloin Caprese salad. Wow! The beef was so good. Looking forward to going again. Staff was so warm and friendly. Quick service too. Very affordable prices.
