Cute little Diner right on hwy 27 in downtown Elmvale. Friendly service and the food was very good. One of the best places for liver and onions I have been to. Not fancy but casual with a small town wholesome flair. Would recommend for as a breakfast or lunch stop.Food: 5/5
Normally we don't give bad reviews,because we understand it is not easy to run a business.However,I have to mention we had a pretty bad experience in this restaurant.The service was OK. Besides that,the environment and food there were really disappointing.We waited for our food around 15-20 minutes,during that time, many flies here and there,and you have to keep patting yourself to keep the flies away, ALL THE TIME.And,there was no AC in the restaurant,really hot and humid.When the food was finally served,the burger was not served with tomato,and meat was just from frozen beef patty,and the relish and onion were all spilled out of sides.What's worse,the fries of the burger were all overcooked.Really disappointing,won't come back again.
The food here is really good especially the French fries. It is a smaller and older diner, but some neat pictures/graphics on the wall. When we went it was quite busy and it took awhile for food but was worth it. The staff are extremely friendly and personable.Food: 5/5
We stopped at the country diner for lunch. The service was excellent. I ordered the BLT with homemade split peace soup. My son ordered the nuggets and fries they were not so good but what can you do. The homemade soup and delicious sandwich made up for any shortcomings. I will come back again and try this homemade lunch. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.
Today we were here after visiting the zoo, we brought our 9month old son and the experience and food was perfect. They were so accommodating and the server was the sweetest to our little one. Food is scrumptious and portions are generous. Menu is loaded with fresh homemade specials to feed your hunger. Enjoy the Eggs Benny & hearty soups. Prices are kind on your wallet. Meals are served with a smile! A devoted community minded business.

Today we were here after visiting the zoo and if they are smart they would ask Country to take over. The perogies were lovely. They remined me of my grandmas and we have not had them since she passed. The eggs benny was alao worth it and the home fries and fries were classic dinner goodness.
