Story

We are a southern BBQ restaurant, family environment, and non-smoking establishment. Rudy has cooked with Pitmaster Mike Mills in Cape Girardeau MO. Smoked Brisket, Smoked Pulled Pork & Smoked Pulled Chicken are on the menu daily along with other options. We personally smoke all our meats on site daily in our own smokers. Coleslaw & Mountain Beans are all Rudy's recipes. Specials through the year that include soup beans and cornbread from recipes handed down through Rudy's family generation to generation. What makes this place a southern BBQ place? I'm from the south n just wondering is the food really good do this place have any connections to the real south to be called a southern BBQ place? If so what would you recommend
Food was great, atmosphere was pleasant. Everything was cooked just right, right amount of juicy and right internal temp. Service was good as well. My only wish is that they have some smoked meat options.
Great food and service. We order lunch from here usually once a week. Great local BBQ.
Phenomenal dry rub smoked wings, brisket and pulled pork... love the spicy side sauce... ultra cool wait staff... will delve into the menu further, but in all a home run experience
This didn't disappoint for BBQ in valpo Indiana. The brisket was so tender, the pulled chicken was perfect flavor and tender, and the ribs were just right. Brisket nachos were a hit as well. The meat is good quality with a neutral flavor.
Bit pricey, but the food was good and the waitress was lovely

My wife and I tried this place a few months ago, and really love this place! Highly recommend the family meal that is offered on Sundays.
