Ruby Tuesday

My waitress is an asset to this place of business! The hostess not so much! Not friendly and took me to a booth instead of a table as requested. The meal I had was the New Orleans! Looked nothing like the picture! All it basically is is a piece of fish for 16.00! I've had crappier meals in New Orleans that were by far better. I did get the potatoes as a side, very good! Salad bar was lacking I thought also! Overpriced...

Great serve staff. Small portion entrees that look nothing like pictures in menu. Salad bar and a drink is best value.

The food is less than good. They do not know how to cook at steak unless you like it rare or burnt, then you will like it. I like my steak well done but not burnt. They either bring it out rare our burnt like a hockey puck. And the size of there steaks and the rest of the menu is very small when you consider what you have to pay. Since when is an 8 or 10 oz steak a proper size. most steak house sell either 18oz or larger. and the their ribs have very little meat on them. they must but the low quality ribs. but i guess if yiu prefer salads to real food then you are all set, since they like to talk about there new salad bar. the resturant needs a whole new menu or maybe they can just go out of buisness, like they report on the news.

As a travel nurse from Florida, I often find myself reluctantly ordering fish or seafood outside of my home state because people tend to cook the hell out of fish. However, I was craving some and decided to give the Hickory Bourbon Salmon a try. I also ordered a Ruby Relaxer (which I had never had), a salad (because you can not pass up their Garden Bar), and broccoli. The salad from the bar is always good...fresh ingredients and a great variety. My salmon was cooked to perfection...it was done, but not overly. The sweet, yet spice flavor of the sauce on the salmon complimented the fish well. The broccoli was not soggy as found in many places and was very good. The drink was interesting if you like sweet mixed drinks. I found out later that the cook was Jamal. Jamal needs a raise because he nailed this meal and if he does it with all the foods he prepares, then kudos to him. My server, Shane, was polite and efficient. I walked away impressed that I had found perfectly cooked fish in South Dakota. Great job! I definitely will be a repeat customer during my assignment in this area.
