Great venue. Nice quality of sound. Lovely hospitality. Sunday-parking has good access, but is incredibly expensive!
Cozy, safe place for my son's school band concert. Lighting and sound system is fantastic... The concert was like a family gathering; everyone was happy and proud of each child's performance.
Great facility for UofC music students. Enjoyed an evening of chamber music.
Not many places left in YYC for bowling ... this one is a classic. Good venue, but seriously!! Get the girl behind the Consession Stand some help! She was swamped and nobody thought to jump in.
Beautiful theatre. Perfect acoustics.
Is anybody able to help me out and give me advice how to buy an actual ticket to an event at the Rosa center? My son is the solo guitar/ clarinet player in a week and although I’ve called the Rosa centre repeatedly it’s always just on voicemail and all they did was send me a link to their schedule of events but it is completely not user-friendly and it doesn’t show you how to actually buy a ticket. It’s a little frustrating that I am desperately trying to give them money and they seem not at all interested in excepting my money
The Rosza Centre is a beautiful performing arts stage at the main University of Calgary campus. I have attended the World Music Ensemble events directed by Dr. Robert Squance, and the University of Calgary Chorus and Chamber Choir events; I've enjoyed all performances. Tickets are available at the door if you don't acquire them in advance.
Our band played here multiple times and had a wonderful experience. The staff were really friendly and were willing to show us where to go. Our concert ran till 10pm but let us stay till 11 waiting for rides which was really nice because it was really dark out. Overall a wonderful place with great interior design
This section of the UofC has a centrally located parking lot that provides easy access to the Rozsa Centre and other surrounding buildings such as MacEwan Hall where the cafeteria is located. Bathrooms are clean and fresh, a coat check is available and seating is comfortable enough to sit for extended periods of time without too much discomfort. Sound quality is great for the audience to clearly hear what the presenters are saying. The 4 stars in this review is due to the very expensive parking fee I was charged $23.
