The spiciness is just right. We can only eat little spicy, and this place can control the spiciness without compromising the taste of the dishes. Their pickle fish soup has many meat, and their smoked duck tastes awesome!Food: 5/5
Definitely the BEST authentic Sichuan style restaurant I had in Seattle! As myself from the “HOT POT” town Chongqing the food made me feels home! Now I come here at least once a week for homey food! I would HIGHLY recommended!
Four stars because the food was generally delicious. The sichuan wontons were great, and the A choy was probably the star of the the show. The soup dumplings were just okay though. The skin is a little thick. The store is probably the definition of hole in the wall. It’s a no frills place that’s about food first. Don’t come here expecting a fine dining experience. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to eat good sichuan food!
A great variety of delicious, authentic food. Their xialongbao are fantastic but their selection of Sichuan/Hunan dishes is stellar too. I would definitely order both kinds of options, don't limit yourself to just one or the other. Eggplant with century egg and the tripe were delicious picks this time. Interior was nice and clean, service was quick and courteous. Would definitely recommend!
Very friendly service and conveniently open late. The xiao long bao was a little bit doughy and there was not that much soup. The boiled dumplings and pork bun were good, the sauce it came with was very fragrant! The dan dan noodles were interesting, they are szechuan style which I had not tried before and the noodles are thinner and there is less flavor. It was quite a drive for me so not sure if I’ll come again.
Came here looking for dumplings but please don’t order their dumplings. They were so bad the filling wasn’t that good either and the dumpling skin was thick. Their Szechuan food was delicious though although pretty oily even when we asked them to use less oil. Both the cauliflower and the pork and chili stir fry sat in a big pool of oil.
I ordered to go so I didn't get the greatest Xiao long bao or pan fried bao experience, but I could tell they would've been great fresh and I'll go back for them when I dine in. The dumplings were soooo good and the couples beef was one of the best I had in the city. Mapo tofu was excellent just as Kenji mentioned. I'll 100% come back!
Decent Chinese restaurant. We ordered shredded potato, pepper beef stir fry, stir fried green beans, and spicy boiled fish. Everything tastes decent, but spicy boiled fish was just okay which I don’t recommend
We come here with our family for the first time! Overall good food and cozy environment. One key thing to mention is that we really Love their bottle milk tea here !! They are flavorful and delicious! No too sweet like the overly sugary one in most boba place . This milk tea selling here has strong sense of tea which obviously made with top grade tea leave! I am a tea addict lol highly recommended the milk tea !! It is called DNA milk tea !
This spot was super good! We got some dumplings sheng jian bao, XLB, and fried potstickers and two soups spicy fish one and a spicy beef noodle one and EVERYTHING was fantastic. I love the lady that is there. She kept it real and recommended the soups! Will be coming back!
