Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

I find it shocking the amount of crime in this small town, and it seems the RCMP turn a blind eye to it. Many elderly are robbed in the middle of the night. When they go to the RCMP the are asked for video proof. What did they do before cameras??! Ridiculous! Anyway I know someone who had recorded proof of the threat of bodily harm. The RCMP officers told them, they should have hung up. They told the officers they were getting evidence. RCMP response was, "You don't have to get evidence! We wait till something happens, and we get the evidence." So which is it? Do nothing till you get evidence, or be attacked and then THEY will get the evidence Nice police work either way.
