Avoid having ur road test there!! Chantelle mid 40s curly hair is one of the worst examiners i’ve ever had, i don’t mind that she failed me twice for vague reasons that’s apparently her job, but the rude attitude, slamming the door while getting off my car, yelling in the car while I am at a 80km/hr not 100km/hr speed merging from a ramp on a rainy day is just stupid and failing me only for that is unbelievable
We have twice attended at this office. The visits were about five years apart with the more recent one in 2019 November. Both times, the service has been above reproach: reasonably fast, attentive, and friendly. This recent visit added to the experience as a reception person passed among those waiting to see how she might expedite the clients' needs. That's service!
Don’t bother booking an appointment. Still have to take a number and wait your turn. 2 stars because the security staff were very nice
Waited for two hours to be told I didnt have the correct signature on the correct form. It would take one of their staff exactly 20 seconds to prescreen people who have to wait to make sure they have every i dotted and t crossed that their complicated bureauocracy requires. But no. That would make way too much sense. Terrible.
Waited 2.5 hours to get seen. When seen: "Your papers are not in order". Could have saved a wait if they had people outside checking people's paperwork. I think this is necessary given how convoluted the rules are. So yeah. 2.5 hours of my life I'll never get back. Awful. Just awful.
I called RMV to ask a question regarding out of province plates. Shawna answered all my questions and in fact went the extra mile to set up an appointment for me at the Truro office. Unfortunately, the schedule was not open into November. She took my cell number and as soon as the November schedules open, she will set an appointment for me. That is customer service. Thanks Shawna for the professional service. Regards Gower Fiander
Mid-day, no lineups, in and out quickly
I'm not sure why most of your staff feels the need to act like a bunch of know-it-alls. I am a Federal government employee and a month ago, I went in to register and plate 2 brand new government vehicles. We not have insurance - almost all government vehicles don't, but I told this to your rat working the desk, but she INSISTED that we must. I said no we don't, we are the government. She told me to call someone and figure it out. I called my colleague down in Yarmouth, who asked to speak to your employee, but she refused and made up an excuse that she doesn't like use other people's phones and would get her supervisor to come out. Supervisor was on the phone the entire time and never once came out of the office. After my colleague asked to speak to your employee, only then did she take the pink slip away and mumble something about being under the Government of Canada. No apology or oh I'm sorry, you were right. This happens every time I go there for something work related. It needs to stop. NOW. Educate your damn employees and make sure they are trained for every possible situation.
Awful service bought a vehicle out of province glanced at the paper work told me it’s all wrong. Went to Sackville the following day they did the whole thing with no issue. Too much work I guess
I just had an extremely rude woman working at desk 7 at the truro location speak to me like I was trash. She had long brown curly hair mid 40s maybe I didn't get a name I was too embarrassed and upset by the way she spoke to me in front of a room full of customers to look at her name tag. It was extremely uneccessary and disrespectful, a government employee or anyone at that matter should never speak to anyone with a tone like that. Beyond disappointed and would not recommend this location to anyone.
