An enjoyable lunch. The samosas were tasty. The lentil soup was good. The naans were good, the veg biryani was meh... asked for a higher level spice but it wasn't that spicy. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were pleasant. I think we had the owner serving us and he was great! I think the meals here might be a little over priced for what you get when it comes to the plates of food.
Everything was amazing all food But 4 star because I ordered mango pistachio kulfi to go and later when I opened it. It taste like mango and some butter. Also we didn’t expect that it will be like some regular chunk of something and may be I expected some fork or something to eat with but nothing so ruined some mood.
After so long we have tasted an authentic Indian taste. Everything was so tasty that we left nothing l on the plates ! The service was perfect. I would recommend everyone to try this little gem situated in the heart of small but beautifully city of Sidney. A must visit place to enjoy perfect Indian taste!
On my official trip to Sidney I came across this restaurant. It was indeed a pleasant surprise, the owner and server were super nice and welcoming. I had Chicken Thali, it was amazingly delicious. The service was prompt and server Arsh regularly checked our table.
Our lunch at "Royal Aroma" was excellent! We have been to countless Indian restaurants over the years, but found the food here to be the best we've experienced anywhere. Our meals were perfectly cooked and the curries had subtle, yet complex depths of flavour and texture. Everything was served hot, the tableware was attractive, and the service was courteous and attentive. Highly recommend!
Delicious! We came on a Saturday and had the chicken samosas and coconut lamb curry. The samosas were good but the curry was the star. The portions were not huge. I could have used a little more rice and the rice we got was a little dry. There were no lunch specials anymore as far as I can tell someone mentioned they were like bento boxes and included dessert but the price was fair.
We were thrilled to try this lovely restaurant after hearing a good review. The food was absolutely delicious and the server/owner was very friendly and efficient. We live on on one of the Gulf Islands and ferry to Sidney frequently. Our meal was so good, we will make Royal Aroma a destination.
you could tell right away they used fresh spices and ingredients. very good selection on the menu. many choices of inhouse naan. yummy! I came back and tried the veggie vindaloo medium-hot with cheese naan ! Vegetarian options: several dishes w chichpea, veggy, or tofu
Nice ambience, love the stuffed mushrooms and chai, most authentic Indian food I had on the island since moved here
Great veggie samosas . Actually Everything was excellent. We had butter chicken, mango curry, naan and mixed grill best Indian cuisine I have had in a long time! Thank you for doing a great job!
