Roy is the best MC out there - he brought our entire wedding reception to life. Everyone had an absolute blast with him. The first time we saw him was actually at our friend’s wedding and our reaction was “WOW! This MC is AWESOME. It would be so cool if he could MC our wedding.” We got married in Banff and Roy was super willing to work on the travel logistics with us and come out all the way to the other side of Canada to MC our wedding. He was professional and EXTREMELY organized, which was super helpful in crafting the schedule for the ceremony. He took all of our wishes/wants and weaved them creatively into the night’s program. My husband’s family only speaks Mandarin and not only did Roy pivot between English and Mandarin with ease throughout the whole night, but he also went above and beyond in coming early to the ceremony and translating our officiant’s speech and vows to his parents directly as they were happening. Roy’s humour and charisma light up the entire room and there is never a silent/awkward moment. I could go on and on about Roy, but I think you get it - he is the best wedding MC out there. You can stop looking around and book him now, seriously!
Roy is an amazing MC to work with! We first met him at an wedding reception we were attending. His enthusiasm really makes it really engaging to to listen to. As a result, we had to have him MC our reception. He did a great job working with our other vendors DJ, wedding planner, etc to ensure the evening ran smoothly. I had lots of guests come up to us after telling us what a great job he did! Thanks again Roy for being apart of our special evening!
Roy did an amazing job at our wedding! He brought so much energy, humor, and creativity to our event. Him managing and adding to the itinerary really made a night to remember for our guests, and truly one that my wife and I will never forget! In addition, we had some Mandarin translation needs which Roy fulfilled seamlessly. After the event, him and his DJ DJ Ashish i believe had the whole crowd dancing past 1am! From the first meeting, Roy was so thorough and helpful in providing guidance based on his vast experience of doing events. Would recommend Roy to anyone!
Roy was a great MC at our wedding this past Saturday. He made sure there were no dull moments throughout the night. He got our guests involved in a couple of games, in the end we can tell everyone was having a blast. Leading up to the wedding day, we had some requests and Roy was very respectful and helpful, and was able to ensure these requests will be met. We would highly recommend Roy if you are looking for a bilingual English and Chinese MC for your wedding.
RoyProMC are amazing entertainers as well as coordinators. They ensured that the rundown for our wedding reception flowed nice and smooth with no dead air. The games that Roy hosted for the guest were also very exciting and interactive for all the guests, which really livened up the mood. Additionally, Roy had the expertise to adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate unforeseen changes to the run down without it having an adverse impact to the overall experience for the guests. Roy is a great and eloquent speaker in both English and Cantonese and his well timed jokes really captivated the crowd. His DJ, Aaron, was also very friendly and professional. He always played the right tunes at the right time to ensure to keep the party going! We highly recommend RoyProMC to all other future bride and grooms!
We've been to a couple of our friends weddings where Roy was the MC and it was always a good time so when it came time to plan our own wedding, we knew Roy was the person. Roy is able to speak both Cantonese and English fluently which was really important for us since we had a number of guests who couldn't understand English very well. He is professional, responsive and just so easy to work with! We were very specific in our criteria with the reception games and he delivered in spades. Many of our guests commented on how charming and likeable Roy was - this is coming from our friends and even our parents. He hyped up the room and had great energy. My husband and I were able to fully enjoy the reception because the night ran so smoothly. Roy and his DJ also handled our ceremony audio as well as the music throughout the evening. Absolutely no issues, everything sounded great, loud and clear. We provided a list of songs/genre of music we were looking for and the DJ accommodated all our needs/requests!! Overall, we are beyond satisfied and so glad we went with Roy. He understood what was important to us and made sure we got everything we wanted. In the words of my month-of coordinator when she found out Roy was our MC: "You'll have a very fun reception". Highly highly recommend. Thank you!!
Roy was exceptional, professional, funny, quick thinker and able to control the ambience and tempo of the wedding. Our wedding required English, Cantonese, and Mandarin as some of our guests only speak one of the three languages, but Roy was still able to clearly communicate event details to our guests. We were worried that the wedding ambience would be a bit dry, unengaged, and unresponsive since our guests were very shy, but our guests were very lively, engaged, and responsive due to Roy's great timing, and feel for the crowd. We also had Roy as our DJ, and he provided a great selection of jazz music to complement the wedding. I would recommend Roy to anyone who is looking for an MC or DJ for an event.
Just had my wedding the past weekend with Roy and his team as our MC and DJ and they were FANTASTIC! A lot of guests told me this was the most fun they had at a wedding and large part of that was due to Roy's preparation of the games and his sense of humour. He also took great care of English speaking guests as well. I would definitely recommend Roy and his team if you are preparing for your wedding!
My wife and I hired Roy to MC our wedding and we were very happy with the way he lead our event. Roys ability to jump from english to Cantonese was impressive and also very inclusive for some of our older guests. His enthusiasm and energy helped to keep our event on time, cheerful and entertaining. Roy is also a great singer, this man is talented! It was a great experience having Roy on board and my wife and I would highly recommend him.
Roy was amazing as our MC and DJ for our wedding. We needed someone who was fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and Roy checked all the boxes. His flow was very natural and full of energy even though he was speaking 3 languages at a time. The timing for everything from songs to videos were done perfectly. When he told us he would organize some wedding games, we were expecting more traditional wedding games like the shoe game but his game repertoire was very modern, fun and most importantly, engaging. Roy really made sure to communicate with us on what to deliver for our wedding which resulted in an amazing wedding experience! We highly recommend Roy to anyone else!
