I was referred to Roy Barber by a co-worker. They were fantastic. I explained to the service pro what I thought might be happening and they mentioned that they prefer to do a thorough exam to find the issues. As it turned out it was something different, they repaired it and it had it back to me by the morning. They also provided a shuttle service to drive me to work after I dropped off the van which was so helpful.  Awesome experience and feel great to have found a local and reputable auto service provider. I will definitely be back!

I recently had my 2006 Grand Caravan serviced at Roy Barber Services, and I can't say enough good things about them. I developed a  serious leak in my steering system. I was previously told at another garage that my Steering Rack needed replacement, as it was leaking slightly. Steering rack replacement is a $1000-$1500 job, so I put it off as long as I could. Since the leak become very problematic, I assumed that I need the steering rack replaced right now. I brought the van into the folks at Roy Barber, and stated that I figured that I needed a steering rack replacement. So, they put the vehicle on a hoist to have a look. They tried to see what the problem was, but could not see the leak, since so much steering fluid had sprayed in the engine bay, they couldn't locate the source of the leak. What they did next was power wash the engine, so that they could really see the source of the leak. What they found was that there were two hoses that were the source of the leak. They replaced the hoses, flushed the steering system, refilled the fluid, and tested the system. Lo and behold, what I had worried would be a huge repair bill, turned out to be a $250 repair bill. They suggested that I keep an eye on the Steering Rack, but didn't feel that it was an immediate concern. I have to say that this was the most honest, straightforward service facility that I have ever dealt with. People sometimes ask me if I have a garage that I would recommend. Well, I do now.

Went to Roy Barber on the recommendation of a friend after hearing some grinding noises from the back of my car. Brian fit us in on a busy day, had a tech figure out the issue that same morning and offered an inexpensive solution to the problem. Will be back!

You cannot find a better car repair garage in Ottawa. The team is friendly and professional and their rates are incredibly fair. I would highly recommend Roy Barber Services.
