Fair prices for huge portions. The food here is of good quality and it’s fresh.

The chicken roti here is very good. Lots of big chunks of chicken and potatoes. They will add chick peas for free on top! The roti shells are ok. I've had better but they aren't bad. The place itself looks like a dark dive. It's a small hole in the wall. I've never eaten in but the chairs look comfy. The staff are always friendly when I've been in. Cash is preferred.
Great service, great portion and delicious food. All halal food.
Unassuming place but food is solid. Great price and solid portions. Not sure about there other items but I always get the jerk chicken or curry goat and leave happy each time. You can pay debit but gotta go upstairs so just easier to pay cash. Dude always serving food is nice too. Would def recommend if you want to grab a nice filling meal and avoid the majority of touristy places in the area
Huuuuuuuge portion, flavourful ! Large is only 10buks after Tax. Gotta try!
Food is amazing. I have only had their roti. The right combo of flavours and spices. Packed with the right amount of heat. For the teo times I have had their food, it packs well. First time I went and got the food. Second I did Doordarsh, both times food was still warm, and traveled well.
Don’t be fooled by the location...yes it could use a lil refresh but I really enjoyed my meal ...jerk chicken that’s tasty and falls off the bone ..rice was cooked perfectly and a side of greens that was also as delicious... huge portions great price and don’t forget the hot sauce the guy that served me was great too. I’d go again .
The food itself wasn't so bad I ordered the curried goat; friend had the jerk chicken, but the restaurant itself is in pretty bad condition. As soon as we sat down, small flies started flying around our food, the tables and seats were greasy and the music has blasting loudly. If you want to sit down and be able to talk to your companion, don't go there. The way the food was served, I felt like I was in a school cafeteria. The older woman overfilled the container so the curry sauce was dripping from it and onto hands and clothes. It is cheap and filling food, if that's what you want. Also, the food struck me as more East Indian than West Indian/Caribbean, as someone else has pointed out. I would not go back.
This place is one of those hidden gems in Toronto. if you don't know, you just don't know. So let me tell you! You will get some of the best West Indian food from here. Way better than most carib places and it being downtown too is a bonus for this type of cuisine as you do not get it there a lot. Someone else wrote about the lunch special. For 5, you cannot go wrong !! Did I mention its downtown? Where else you get a 5 dollar lunch that is so tasty and plentiful. Go there ASAP.
Super cheap and a good portion. But very tasteless and spicy roti when I asked for not. Not authentic Caribbean flavor. If you need to pay by card, you have to go upstairs to the buffet where an older woman will throw your receipt at you even if you tip. Go elsewhere.
Amazing deals for lunch specials. The staff is awesome courteous and definitely cater to you. I love there freshly fried bread. I also recommend oxtail gravy on the rice - its delicious :
