Thanks, Rosie’s for a perfect little mid-ride sea wall lunch. The pulled pork, coleslaw, pickles and setting were delicious.
If you manage to get a bite with the sauce, the pulled pork sandwich is good; tasty and tender. However, I don't know that I'd pay over $16 for it again. Didn't get much sauce so not very balanced, and for the amount of money I paid, my "meal" wasn't filling. Plus the lady that was taking orders was not very friendly. She kind of made me feel like I was stupid for asking questions.
Went to the food truck at 200 granville and was entirely underwhelmed. The brisket was good, but nothing to write home about. The bbq sauce was very vinegary and not smoky. The mac and cheese salad was anything but. It was basic macaroni Salas and very dry, little sauce at that with a little bit of unmelted grated cheddar cheese mixed in. Why call it mac and cheese salad when it's not that. The homemade ice tea and lemonade were both good, not too sweet. The price for what we got means we won't be returning.
The best BBQ in Vancouver. I have been lucky enough to try the whole menu, from buttery tender brisket, to smoked sausages, back back ribs, and authentic Southern side dishes. It's all awesome and I guarantee that it's well worth tracking Rosie's down at their next brewery pop-up or food truck event!
Ordered a smoked chicken sandwich; finished about 30 seconds ago and had to write this review. Fantastic sandwich! Not to messy; loads of chicken, the white sauce was very flavourful but it didn't over power everything which was perfect. Would deff recommend!
I worked with Karl from Rosie’s BBQ and Catering for an employee appreciation event at Science World for over 700 people. Karl and his team did an amazing job delivering fantastic food and drinks. He was a responsive and easy to work with while delivering an exceptional service. Looking forward to working with the Rosie’s BBQ team again soon.
This is what you get for $16.50 before tax. Took me three bites to eat it, and this is even without fries or drink. Bought it from the truck at Granville Plaza.
Tried their taco pop up shop at Batch Vancouver this summer. The tacos were delicious and we decided to try all five tacos which included pulled pork, brisket, barbacoa, carne asada, and smoked pork. Good portion sizes and really tasty!
Vancouver finally has amazing BBQ!! We pre-ordered and pick up was super quick and easy. I'm not even sure which part of the, meal to mention first, we got a lot of food and all of it was good. Brisket and sausage links were moist, perfectly smoked and great flavor. The pit beans had a great amount of spice to them. You have to try the banana pudding, it was *chef's kiss*.
Just picked up a Selection of menu items, smoked cheddar sausage with jalapeño ;very nice , smoked half chicken :beautiful excellent flavour ,brisket sandwich :I chose to get the barbeque sauce on the side so I could taste the brisket separately and then I added the sauce a little bit after. We tried two desserts; the banana pudding was the only dish out of everything we tried that we didn’t care for . it it had a strange aftertaste like fake banana or something. The cherry hand pies were delightful and I highly recommend. All in all I will have to keep tracking this food truck down because I’m going to be buying in bulk ! I love everything I had.
