My mother has been buried here since 2015 and has had things at the head stone. Well now everything was removed. Things that were even close to the head stone. The ground has not been filled level or grass seed put in. This is very poor maintenance. I wouldn't even bury my dog here if they had a pet section.

Lovely cemetery. Lots of cool memorials and stones. Lots of Pokemon Go activity.

I am what they like to call, an "avid golfer." So I have seen my fair share of golf courses. Being new to the area, I wanted to play the best Montrose had to offer! So, naturally, I went to Rose Hill Golf Course. Pulling into the drive, my husband and I noticed the stone monuments scattered across fairways, making the place seem more like a putt putt course than anything. Not wanting to disappoint our twin four year old sons, Mavis and Trexberger, we timidly sauntered on. The cold welcome from the staff played into the increasing idea that this place wasn't all it was cracked up to be. We think the owner may have ties to the Mafia because we saw him get out of a limo followed by a line of many cars and start hugging people. Continuing on, the hot dogs in the pro shop took FORever to make, and they were obviously under-cooked. My husband ended up breaking his tibia while he was running down the side. He tripped over one of the stone monuments, and they're lucky we haven't filed a lawsuit yet. There was also a statue of Jesus along one of the holes on the back nine. I don't know about you, but I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state! So I don't understand why there is a Jesus statue here. My husband and I left without paying, will NOT be back. The view of the ocean is almost breath-taking. If you take into consideration that there is a Hobby Lobby obstructing the view! Trisha McGovern
