I always go into Roots any chance I get, I always support Canadian brands! I like the leather products, it's well made, and it's my daily driver! I walk into this store on a Saturday afternoon, the store was surprisingly empty, I look around and I see the hoodies, the best hoodies ever, so comfortable! There were 2 employees behind the counter and they just talked to each other, they saw me but just decided to continue their conversation, this didn't bother me, I continued to the back of the store...and another employee was playing on her, she saw me and continued to play on her phone, if you're going to play on your phone, at least, at the very least, don't let the customer see it! I was going to try out a hoodie...I decided not to, 3 employees and they were all busy with their own stuff...as I was leaving the store, I walked past the cash register counter, I made contact with the 2 employees, and they said nothing, not even a smile, they looked at me as COVID was written on my forehead! At the very least, you could've said, 'Have a good night.' Or...the generic greeting, 'Is there anything I can help you with today?' Or...'Anything in particular you're looking for today?' I gave 2 stars because I will still shop at Roots, I still like Roots, just not this location... *Thumbs down*
Apparently, they open at 10:00 not 9:30 I am returning a hoodie bought it online, definitely not worth the 92 dollars, I expected better quality.
I love their clothing! Went to stock up on the Roots necessities and was very happy. Limiting customers, keeping lots of space, and very helpful when asked a question.
Another Canadian Icon but the quality of goods has decreased over time. I have a leather belt I bought at Roots 20 years ago and it's going strong but they don't make the belts like they used too. Their leather bags are nice but not worth the price tag. Saddleback Leather in the US makes the best leather products for the same price and a 100 year warranty. Roots has some nice things but I only buy when on sale. I love the brand but the quality needs to match the price tag.
Not a huge fan of the selection of clothes at this location. I bought a sweater and leather backpack about 4 years ago in Halifax. Still in great shape so quality is on point from the company itself.
Great Canadian clothes. I use to shop at location and your other location in Rideau Mall. Now. Moved to down in the States this location helps me my online orders. I wished Roots had location in the State i live. Great Canadian products
Nice clothing unfortunately doesn't fit me AND MATTRESS are so expensive for donations how are you with the income we are below poor please say something about it and they might do it .
Good stuff but high price!
Honestly love Root clothing, just wish that it was in my budget to be able to buy my entire clothing ensemble there but it can be pricey
