Dog friendly coffee stop in the food court. Has outdoor seating too and does take away or sit in. Wasn't very friendly, welcoming service, but think the young lad was maybe just shy, is why he didn't smile. But hey, the coffee was brilliant! Really yum tasty. I also tried the almond cake with chocolate and hazelnut and it was really good. There's a monstahhh coffee roaster machine presiding in one room, looks very Heath Robinson! They also sell the coffee sacks here, £3 each. One of the best coffees I've had in a while and reasonably priced too. On my radar now, you need to put this place on your list too, very, very good coffee and cake. Recommended. Oh, and as an aside to the bloke punter who had his hooves up on the table, if you are reading this, hooves are for the floor, not for on tables that other folk have to eat and drink off.
Best coffee around - I always stock up before going back home. Great range of single origins for sale, alongside hot and cold drinks.
had exotic beans from everywhere but roosts beats them all hands down. Pleasant surroundings with a few nice bits to eat but the coffee is most definitely the main event. Well worth a visit.
We absolutely love this brand of coffee beans. We first tasted it when we went to Lockton tearooms and I asked "where do you get that amazing coffee from" Roost coffee is our number one favourite. Brilliant customer service from ordering to delivery. Would definitely recommend.
Knowledgeable coffee drinking staff. I bought an aeropress for our kitchen after I quizzed a barista on how to make the best coffee at home without an expensive machine. Works very well! There are tons of coffee blends to choose from here and although they are all obviously good, they're not always to my preferred taste. Americanos can be a bit hit and miss for me for this reason. I find that a flat white generally hits the spot more consistently. There is generally at least one vegan cake option. They use Minor Figures oat mylk.
Probably the best pour in Malton, just wish they’d open at normal time so I could get a coffee on the way to work!!
The best quality coffee beans in Yorkshire. Worth the trip over from Driffield.
The staff are as great as the coffee, which is excellent. I'd definitely recommend the 'long black'. You can also buy coffee by the bag with a wide selection of coffee to choose from i.e. China, Ethiopia. They will happily take the time to talk to you about the beans, even let you smell them. You can tell they have a genuine love of coffee.
Visited while in the area. It was so good I went back a few hours later. Stunning coffee and lovely staff.
The little outdoor seating area is lovely in the Summer with an iced latte. Good coffee and nice staff!
