Came in with my mum, I wanted Indian food and she wanted Italian. The service was lovely, the food came out promptly and was delicious. Free bread was first to come out and was delightful, my vegetarian lentil curry was full of flavour and quite a large filling portion for the price. My mum enjoyed her pasta and we overall had a wonderful time. We'll come back again next chance: this place is really slept on
I took my 2 kids for dinner. We waited 10 mins to look at a menu as the server was helping a take out customer. She brought menus and walked away. Didn’t take a drink order. I quickly asked for bruschetta to start. We got the bruschetta 30 mins after we ordered it. All the food was so slow. Service was terrible. I actually moved our dirty dishes and menus to another empty table after she walked away without clearing anything. She didn’t remember my daughters order and came back rather rudely to ask what she ordered. I got up and asked for fresh ground pepper. She just let me take the pepper mill. Lol. The food was just ok. Definitely won’t be back.
Very nice meal, service was excellent. Our server has attentive to our needs. Casual and great value.
Friends beware: Absolutely the most disgusting and disappointing food and service we ever have had. Will never return to this establishment for reasons that it is unsanitary. 1. Our table was not cleaned 2. Our utensils had stuck on cheese and other stuff we are not sure what it was. Had to ask for a new set which the waitress was bothered. 3. Our water glasses were covered in water spots and there was some weird feeling stuff on the bottoms and something floating in the water. 4. We ordered wine and asked what the best one was but our waitress was unable to answer this for us and when we finally had our wine the glass was gross it even still had lipstick on it. 5. After ordering our food the waitress took our used menu and just put it back where she pulled it from. She did not seem to know that there are covid guidelines. 6. She did not sanitizer after each guest that she served. 7. The buns they served were probably the best part of our meal. 8. Once the food came out it was bland and we found a hair. Our scallops were undercooked and the calamari was overcooked and rubbery. 9. We sent it back only to be met with attitude and the same gross quality. 10. We had to ask for fresh cracked pepper and parmesan as I thought we were supposed be offered it. 11. Food tasted as if it was frozen and not fresh at all. All of it was a horrible experience after hearing its amazing from friends. Apaling is all we have to say about it. We went right over to Royal Duke and their food 1000% better.
The food was fantastic. The garlic knots were fresh baked and delicious. We especially enjoyed the Caesar salad and the cheesecake. And to top it off our server was absolutely wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great meal!
First ever visit. I had italian,hubby had indian food. I had the spaghetti carbonara. It was lovely. Sauce was just right. Not too thick or thin. Plenty of ingredients. Husband had chicken vindaloo. Not tooooo hot. Tasty. Sauce nice. Meat was good. Service was awesome. Didn't get her name. Lady with blonde hair. She made sure we were happy. Offered us more bread/ poppadoms. She was really friendly. We had dessert. Again, lovely treats. I had the choc mousse cheesecake and husband had the tiramisu. Huge portions. Again, really nice. And as locals she gave us cards to get stamped each visit. After so many you get a meal free. An insentive for people to eat in the restaurant. It was our first visit. We will be back. Thanks for a great first impression. We will recommend to our friends. See you soon.
We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The restaurant itself is tired and dated. The serving staff were pleasant and really tried their best. We ordered the Steak and Lobsters special which came with an appetizer and dessert for $45. My wife had the Caesar salad and I the Drunken Shrimp. Both were very good the salad fresh and the shrimp was tasty. Food service was very slow. When the main meal came we found the steak to be warm at best and the lobsters tail not fully cooked. Terrible! My wife ordered the Creme Brûlée. It did not have the expected hard crust that you would expect and the Creme Brûlée itself was runny. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Too many other good restaurants in Okotoks.
We have been meaning to try this restaurant since we moved to town and finally did. We were very surprised to find the Italian restaurant was also an Indian restaurant, with the building itself split right in half decor-wise, and beautifully so! The food was incredible, and the portions large enough that my husband and I had lunch as well as our full dinner later from just 2 dishes. The service was excellent, and of a higher standard than I've seen in a long time. We will absolutely be going back again
We ordered Roma Italian through SkipTheDishes just a couple of hours ago and two people have food poisoning. Mine is from seafood that had gone off and another person had lasagna which tasted fine. Some sort of cross contamination I guess. Sorry guys, but really bad experience
For my wife and I’s 10th-anniversary we decided on Roma Italian, and It was phenomenal. Even though we had ordered it to go, everything stayed at a ready to serve temperature. From the appetizers to the main courses the food was delicious. Thank you Roma for this positive dinning at home experience. The Durette Family
