OMG! My husband was having TBO's while eating the most delicious veggie burger we've ever had! Then, this key lime tart took us over the edge. Seriously, it's hand made. We've been here before and we never miss a visit when we're in Whistler. The outside patio was wonderful. Super friendly staff!
Cool, local feel, child friendly, sports bar with very nice food and a decent selection of drinks. Rachel served us twice and was lovely, taking an interest and talking to our son. Chicken wings - excellent. Cheese burger - excellent. Salmon burger - excellent. Grilled cheese - thumbs up from the boy. Pulled pork quesadillas - decent. Fries - nice, but not my favourite of the trip. Overall though, it was good enough to go twice in a week and take our friends, which should say plenty. Vegetarian options: Not many to be honest. Thankfully we’re flexible. Kid-friendliness: Small kids menu, so fussy eaters beware. Super child friendly in all other regards though.
Unfortunately Rolands served up the worst fish and chips to my friend and after sending back twice, first time uncooked and second time rubbery they still charged him. The waitress was very rude about it all . This is very disappointing as it happened some years back and had only recently redeemed itself in my view, now we’re at that stage again. The neighbourhood pub is not what it used to be! Remember Hoz’s?
Nice local pub for the area. Plenty of people in there. Good selection of beers. There is a food menu but we just had drinks. Although a couple of guys devoured their burgersService: 4/5

Being tourists from overseas we struggle with the wait times at Whistler resturants and Roland's was no exception. The place was heaving when we arrived and there was a line up at the door. Fortunately the server processed everyone promptly and we were soon seated. Typical pub fare and wide beer selection. Great service considering how busy the place was.
Been a few times to this place, solely because the food is great. Service could improve, I always want more drinks but can never get the servers attention. One time I ordered a Caesar and tried to get the attention of my server three times as she walked from the table to my left to the table to my right, not being aware of me at all. After 20-25 minutes of trying to ordered a second Caesar I walked out. I would have liked to continue ordering drinks and then food had I had the service to do so. I just went back and although the service had improved it still wasn’t great. Management, could you teach your staff to have floor awareness, if you are walking by one of your table, look to see if their drink is low, or if they are making eye contact, of in my case yelling “excuse me”. Despite the casual service, the food has always been great pub food. Especially the steak sandwich which has fantastic fried onions with it. Also, wear warm clothing in the winter. It’s always freezing and as a result everyone wears their coats.
Had always heard how great Rowlands is and finally got around to visiting. Lived up to every expectation! Food was great and service was better! Definitely hoping to go again and spend a little more time there!
The wings were amazing, nice and crispy!
