It was the first time I visited Rogers Centre. A great experience to see Blue Jay's match vs METsnnIt is marvelous to be in the centre.
Parking is good and convenient cheap well priced at the Centre, that being said, please to any and all reading this. If you are coming to the downtown and there is something going on at the Rogers Centre, please leave early as the traffic gets crazy!!
Need better way to pay for parking. Maybe have a machine that records your license plate so you don't have to walk back to your vehicle to place the ticket. Other wise was enough parking for a sold out game.
I sat at the parking machine for over 30 minutes trying to get a parking ticket so I could go in. After inserting coins and calling the number with no luck I proceeded to park in the parking garage beside the Roger’s centre. I had my ticket I received from the parking garage slip down into the windshield where I could access it, I was in Ripley’s from 12:25-1:50. When I got to the gate to leave the parking garage and I informed the man at the booth that my parking ticket is inaccessible, he then told me that it was 30$ for the amount of time I have been there which I knew wasn’t right and after managing to dig out the ticket stuck in my windshield I put it in the machine and it was 19$ not even close to what he told me! Literally the worst parking experience ever parking here and next door.
There is nothing wrong with the parking area itself since it is super convenient in terms of location, but the cost advertised online $25 does not match the $45 they actually charge on a game day. We arrived early so I parked on the surface, not in the underground. The whole thing was a bit confusing because there are no staff to guide you to an open space after you pay, but that is Toronto for you. There were 0 washrooms in the surface area parking. Again, online it advertised washrooms and this was a problem for us upon arrival. Decent place to park but I don't appreciate being misled. For $45 they should guide you to a spot and have washrooms on site on the surface level.
