Roehampton Hotel

We lived in the area while on a two year working visa to Canada and anytime we had family coming to visit we recommend this hotel to them. It was ideal. Very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We always heard good feedback from our families when they stayed there. Those reports were confirmed when we actually stayed there ourselves while we waited for the day of our trip home to Ireland after we had vacated our apartment.

My sisters and I recently stayed at the hotel and were really impressed. From the time we entered the hotel staff were truly exceptional . I would give service a 5star rating. They have been well trained in dealing with the public.They suggested an excellent restaurant nearby while we waited for our room to be ready. Check in was easy and quick and they addressed our special requests. They called cabs for us as needed. The valet parking was exceptional so friendly and helpful. They parked the car and brought our suitcases to the room. The breakfast is excellent and again service was impeccable. Someone has definitely trained the staff well. The rooms were clean and neat and maid service was very helpful. The hotel was quiet at night for sleeping. TV ‘s could use upgrading and I was unable to access Bluejay game . The hotel is close to subway for ease in getting around Toronto. We highly recommend the hotel and will stay there again.

Like any other reviews, the building might be old on the outside but it looks new in the inside. We stayed for one night, 2 king size bed. The room looks cozy and our request was granted when booking. The view from the windows looks fine yet not the greatest. The parking has additional fee of $20 which is quite unexpected for a hotel if I'm not mistaken based on my experiences on other hotels in Canada. So far, the staffs are welcoming and the breakfast was good. I paid about $140 for a night stay. The washroom is quite compact but looks clean.

Although the breakfast was plentiful and good, not great, but the staff in the breakfast room was very accommodating. No parking to speak of, perhaps 20 some odd spots and charged $20 per night. Not able to drive in and out as they double park the cars that do get a spot. Room was very dated but quiet. Bed could be better, much better. Elevator very slow, when it worked. Two of my colleagues got stuck more than once as did I. When we told the front desk they responded with, "No you didn't"! Only stayed here for it's proximity to our business associates. Won't stay again.

Good value for the money. The complimentary breakfast was very good exceeded expectations. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was that the hotel no longer has a rooftop pool... descriptions available from Google etc. still indicate that it does.

The price was great and location was convenient. Pool is warm, outdoor but private. Breakfast was had a large variety, large buffet style. Our particular room had a broken sofa bed and the key card worked sporadically. Valet parking included. Overall it was a good experience, would stay again.

Good spot, friendly staff. Breakfast was good value especially for something that was included. Building is older but has like of class, could use upgrades on the carpets and blinds. Washrooms are dated. One more issue we found is that the noise between adjoining rooms was more then you'd want for privacy. A small fix would be to install a threshold at each adjoining room door. Otherwise good location close to young street.

Excellent value for the cost of the hotel stay - including breakfast! Having taxis more available at the hotel would be helpful rather than waiting to call one - but it wasn't a long wait. A little outside the downtown core but easy to get downtown by subway close by. Cheerful + helpful staff. Rooms a little dated but clean + presentable, especially if you have kids with you. Would recommend the hotel consider a small microwave in addition to the fridge. Great stay !

The room was a queen. Had a hot lamp in the bathroom which was nice to dry u off and keep you warm faster. Room was clean. Front staff friendly and they parked the car for us. Pool apt is closed this year to be fixed and if the parking lot is full then you gotta park green p which is close and about same price so no big deal. Overall it was quiet and served its purpose. Would go back. Only initial issue was booking the room. First 2 people I dealt with were completely rude and uninterested in assisting...like I was bothering them asking to book a room. Third and would have been last time I called we got a completely wonderful lady who corrected some of my initial concerns.

The hotel is outdated. Luckily the staff was what made it better. The deluxe suite is not worth the money, for a few dollars more might as well get a better room. The TV channel system is quite limiting. Having breakfast was a very nice feature and the valet service was quite nice considering the size of the parking lot.
