Had the crispy fried chicken burger. Really good. The taco salad was also good. The menu has a variety of items. Beers on tap. Seems to be a bit of a bar perhaps. Not a lot of people there, but had the disco lights going. One pool table as well. Friendly, quick service.
I came here September long weekend 2021 with my bestie. Twas a beautiful day to be sitting on the patio next to the Kicking Horse river. Service was great, so was the food and drinks.
It took over an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered it. My group and I ordered the butter chicken poutine, vegan artichoke dip, their pasta of the day, and the steak dish. Taste was pretty mediocre and my chicken was cold. Also, if you want to eat outside, put on some bug spray. We started getting bit multiple times by mosquitoes. Would not eat here again.
This place is great. Food was fantastic and the cocktails were amazing. Service was five star. Definitely check this place out! Their patio is beautiful.
Chose this place at random while stopping in Golden - was not disappointed. The owner was our server and he was awesome. Very chill and friendly. Good selection of beers and their Cesar was bomb - packed a punch. Had the reuben, which they brine and smoke in house, definitely recommend. Fries were super crispy and seasoned well. 10 out of 10 for sure.
Get the beef dip. Food is okay but it’s definitely the best vibes in town. Often have shows. You can play darts and pool and there’s beautiful river and mountain views. They make the best ceaser in Golden. Yes, we tried them all. Mushroom sandwich thing was super disappointing. Wings are good.Recommended dishesBeef Dip
Popped in for some beers after a day of hiking. Great spot by the river. Super friendly staff too. Didn’t eat, but the menu looked on point.
Wonderful lunch on the patio looking out onto the river. Food was excellent and our server was a pleasure.
First restaraunt I tried in golden and was pleasantly surprised. The inside of the bar itself is a little dark and dingy, but generally it was clean so no complaints there. He was too smoky to sit out on the patio but that looks like it would be the place to be. They had a couple of non-alcoholic beers to choose from and the Rueben was not too bad - they smoke thier own meat in house. Service was great. You can tell that this is a place that has a lot of regulars from town as we saw a lot of people meeting up Friday afternoon as they came from work.
The original place we wanted to go was booked solid so we tried Rockwater. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our initial impression was that the place is just your typical pub/greasy spoon but to our delight it was definitely not. I had the fish and chips and they were amazing. Wife had a burger and it was top notch as well. You can really tell the the chef's/cooks take pride in their work. Our server was also excellent. We will be back the next time we're rolling through town.
