Mission

Rockland District High School, as part of the Upper Canada District School Board, is a diverse educational community of dedicated individuals committed to quality education. We foster lifelong learning for all through creative and challenging learning experiences.
At RDHS, we expect students to fulfill their academic potential, reach academic expectations and develop responsible social and self-advocacy skills. We will know that students have learned when they demonstrate independent learning skills and are engaged in their own academic and personal successes.
To support our students, we wil re-evaluate our approach by questioning, assessing and implementing new strategies, involving the school community and beginning the cycle again. We will model, re-model, coach and reflect to give optimum opportunities to practice in different contexts.
