Rocket Restaurant

The Rocket is the best restaurant in all of Pontiac. The food is not only prepared with the freshish ingredients, but the meats they use are top quality, and all the soups are homemade not condensed, out of a box. On top of that the staff are exceptional!!! They are not only friendly, and welcoming, but they make you feel like you're family. I honestly don't think you will find a better dining experience anywhere.

Great, cheap burgers and other fast food in Pontiac. I love their Philly Cheese Steak. Also their milkshakes are great! It looks a bit run down but the food is cheap and tasty. I frequent for lunch since I work in the area.

2nd BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE! And I mean that in the best way possible. The best burger was in Sao Paulo Brazil and it had like 10 different kinds of cheese melted on it. Rocket has the best burger I've ever had in the states though. There's nothing fancy about it, it's just good and it makes the perfect burger. That's the only way I can describe it. I order simple, and just get plain burgers, but they obviously use good meat, and know how to cook it. Simply Amazing.

The owner is very friendly, the other staff was very friendly as well. They have a very large menu. The food is made fresh. They cook there own turkeys and many of there other meats. They make a lot if there own sauces as well. The food tasted great!

Eaten here all my life, but won't ever again! Placed a 34 dollar order last night, everything was great as usual except the burger. It wasn't just a 5 dollar burger or I wouldn't have made a big deal about it, it was a 14 dollar burger. I ordered it WITHOUT onions, my reciept even says no onions as does the paper it's wrapped in, got it home...it was covered in Onions and wilted lettuce. So my wife called not necessarily to ask for a refund, but maybe get replacement food for the 14 dollar item that wasn't edible, the owner as well as one of the employees were screaming at her over the phone. The owner told her he wasn't going to offer any compensation or a refund, that we should just not come back! I SURE WILL NOT. Who in the world would go back somewhere where they served you garbage and charged you 14 dollars for it and then treated you like you are the piece of trash when you call to talk about it? I could understand if I was a lowlife return customer who's always trying to get something for free, but I've been coming in there since I was a kid, never disliked the food, never once said an Ill word about the establishment, only told people how good it was...but when your employees neglected to leave the onions off and put old lettuce on a 14 dollar item and then take my money, after putting "no onions" on the reciept and the paper it was wrapped in you created a problem for yourself. You could have been professional and offered compensation or a refund, or maybe not scream at my wife over the phone, and I surely would keep returning like I've done all my life, instead you chose the low road. So you keep the 14 dollars? Learn how to be professional and speak to your paying customers, rather than insulting them and screaming at them or I can assure you you won't have any... I WONT be back! Neither will my family member who have been eating there weekly since you opened and I'll write the 14 dollars off in HONEST reviews that I leave anywhere that paying customers can see when considering eating at your establishment, instead they'll choose to spend there money somewhere else and maybe just maybe you'll learn how to run an HONEST business and have some sort of human decency ;)
