UPDATE 02-23-2022 After a few emails back and forth with Vicky and Rodrigo, Rodrigo asked for my address, wanting to send me a gift card to give them a second chance.That was six weeks ago. Looks like I've been ghosted and their promise to make things right was about as good as their smoked meat sandwich. My 86yr old mom raved about the smoked meat and fries from her last visit so when I took her for her appt today, it's where she asked me to get lunch from to take home. We ordered 2 medium lean smoked meat sandwiches, one being a combo, and after spending $43, I expected to open hot fries as soon as we got in the car but they were warm at best. Just got home to dig into the sandwiches and aside from there certainly not being as much meat as should be first comment my mom made when she opened it, the meat that was there was completely fatty and obviously from the end of the brisket because neither of is could even bite into it. A huge disappointment, especially when paying $$. Sadly, we ate all that was edible, tossed the rest, and were both left unsatisfied and not filled.

Montreal smoke meat and deli like food in Toronto Had a leisure walk in Shops at Don Mills on a Sunday afternoon and this Deli caught our eyes and was eager to try their flavour of Montreal smoke meat sandwich. However, It was a bit of a disappointment as the smoke meat were not warm enough and most importantly there were no dill pickles to come with it which is a must for any Montreal style smoke meat sandwich. The poutine was also disappointing because the gravy was not hot enough and the cheese was too cold. Fortunately the roast beef onion sandwich was very nice. Bread was soft, the meat was tender & tasty. Overall the lunch was considered ‘below average’ which could be better as all the ingredients were there but only missing a few final strides.

The food was okay. We came on a Friday evening, there were 2 other seated tables. We ordered a smoked meat sandwich and club sandwich. Smoked meat was okay, but the chicken in the club was not appetizing. The chicken tasted boiled and refrigerated with no salt. Would stick with the smoked meat where possible. It took about 20 mins to get 2 orders.

Came here on the past Canada day and finally was able to write a review now! Had to preface as I have seen many people talking about 40 minute waiting times. That, I didn’t experience for a busy day at the mall. Mind you, there was only a few tables being used on the patio. We had ordered 5 meals and the food all came out super quick. The food was awesome and nicely flavoured. Some things even shocked me as I have never had a smoked meat alongside a burger patty, but that is just what’s needed for a Canada day patio adventure! Service was quick and we actually received decent service where we had questions and all were answered. Great job overall! Definitely returning to taste that smoked meat burger again! Nice outlook. Food presentation was good. I was surprised with cold fries. It's in the heart of shops at Don mills. My last visit was awesome. This time, it was ok. My guest enjoyed eating their crab salad. Suggestion to owner: Make sure every thing must be fresh and hot. It is provided as fresh.

The Montreal smoked meat sandwiches are good and big enough to split with my wife. We like the curly fries and pickles too. We like coming here on sunny days where we can sit out on the patio.

I ordered the smoked meat sandwich, a burger and a couscous salad. It was made really well and the portions were pretty big! i would definitely recommend giving this place a try

Lots of outdoor seating which is nice.. Probably because the food isn't great. Ordered a chicken poutine a while it does have real cheese curds, they were cold in the middle. Quality checks need to happen before sending out food. It wasn't busy when I was there.

A 3.5 overall. It's not bad but not something to write home about. It hits the spot if you're craving some deli meat, portions and wanting to be full. The service here was mediocre. Amp amount of spots to sit and dine mainly outside with few inside. Wouldn't recommend the poutine. The reuben wasnt too bad. Cost of a meal here averages $12-18 with options of small or medium difference being in amount of meat I believe. Watch out for a ton of wasps here in the summertime though. They do set out a lot of traps but you still find them everywhere.

Tasty burgers and fries, clean space, friendly staff who are making the food, reasonably priced. One thing to note - it seems as though the lady taking orders at the cash register is a bit clueless and doesn't get the orders right. However the other staff immediately corrected it and were very apologetic. Just double check your order. Didn't have to wait as long for my order as other people have noted. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a filling meal within the area!
