Food was great. Service was a little slow and understandable I think they are short staffed. We had the platter for 2 and had to take food home. The salad bar was a very good touch. Carrots were a little over cooked. Potatoes are delicious. The coconut cream pie was probably the best I have ever had. Sorry no pie picture.Food: 5/5
Old school steakhouse takes me back to the 80s. The main dining room needs a facelift, but gave me a nostalgic feel that made it charming. If you're in for a very large dinner this is the place to go! Entrees come with salad, soup, and bread! The portions are HUGE and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try.
Fantastic little steakhouse. Real old school, could use a freshen up, but I don’t go for the decoration. Lots of delicious food for very fair prices. I’ve been a few times and had great experiences each time. This particular visit we ordered the combo platter for two. So we had salad bar, soup, bread, roasted potatoes, veggies, and the meat plate had two cabbage rolls, schnitzel, two sausages, two beef tenderloin, two huge pork chops, and a pile of bacon on top just for lols. For $62. Come on. Love it
The food was so so good. We had soup and salad served before the meal. Filled us right up with the cheese bread and escargot. Steak cooked beautiful. We had questions walking in but the food and service was great. Quite atmosphere but great time.
Although we had to send our steaks back to be cooked longer the meals were good. The portions were very large that's for sure.
I've been dining here since I was a little kid. Great steaks. Dated but for some reason I like that it hasn't changed much.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere and customer service was very good, the food though not so much. The steak my husband had was almost raw, it was so rare. The cabbage rolls I had were pretty much inedible, they were just bad and looked even worse. Will not be returning. Sorry.
Walking up to the door I noticed a sign that said please be "patient we are short staffed." So I walked in expecting to be waiting at the door for a few minutes. When I walked in I saw that there was only one table that was currently occupied, the waitress/hostess was in the back doing something, I'm not sure what as her back was to the door, and she was hunched over a table. I stood there for 10 minutes, possibly a little longer. At one point she looked back directly at me and then turned back around to the table. I was never acknowledged and I ended up walking out.
The food was ok, the whole place is an experience....which is worth the visit. Be prepared to be transformed back to the 70s....the only thing missing was Jello. Way too much meat on the meat platter for one...not the best quality meat either, and I asked for my steak to be rare, it was well done and not very pretty.
A great place to go to get a nice steak dinner for a reasonable price. The chef typically undercooks so if you want medium rare, order a medium.Food: 5/5
