Roche Lake Camping Area

What a great hidden gem. The fish were huge jumping constantly

We got here on a Monday, we got a site no problem. Very spacious, gorgeous lake.

West camp road, take at an idle speed. This road needs a grader.. lots of wildlife and great fishing.

This rating is merely off face value of the Provincial Park when I attempted to camp here this recent weekend: In a nuthull, I'm surprised the qualify of this park or lack there of vs all other B.C. parks I've been to. I traveled to the main camping area only to see dissaray, no real designated areas, people and trailers everywhere and poor turn around areas for those like me that wanted the hell out of there, it would be better called "group camp sites" since it was more of a clearing in the woods next to a lake - no separation / privacy from others. I found myself having to tread over a half fast road way cut into the earth with exposed roots with huge ruts while hauling a trailer - decided to take a look at one of the smaller lakes horseshoe and the roads were rittled with huge pot holes about a foot deep I caution those with low RV's or motor vehicles. I guess the abandons car all shot up / beat up should have been a clear indication of what to expect. Some people enjoy this but I would rather enjoy other parks where there is actually a service provided for my style of camping.

Really nice! Went fishing but think we went too early, when we were coming in , everyone else was headed out around 6:30 pm

It has great fishing but needs picnic tables at the upper campsites. Very nice owners

Clean washroom, I like the sign in the restroom it said bring your own cleaning supplies , I forget to take a picture

We saw all of 5 rigs. Place is empty.

Sucks, no firewood available. No picnic tables. Cow and goose, droppings everywhere.
