Rob helped sell my father-in-law’s house on Mountain Lake in Minden a few years ago. He was really great to work with – professional, responsive, and knew what he was doing. He laid out a solid marketing plan for how to make sure that the home was being seen by the right buyers, and kept in constant contact. He was able to sell the house for asking price, even in an otherwise “slow” cottage sale season. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Haliburton area.
Sept.. 2016 We worked with Chestnut Park on the purchase of a new cottage, and then the sale of our existing cottage. Even though the time of year was not the best to list, they did a great job of marketing. What impressed us the most, however, was the very detailed feedback after each showing. We have never experienced that level of professionalism before in all of our past real estate transactions. My husband and I bought our beautiful cottage with Rob Serediuk in Haliburton. He spent numerous months with us looking at properties until we found our dream cottage. We was a wealth of knowledge regarding all of the lakes in the Haliburton region, he provided us with all of the pros and cons of the lakes and the cottages we looked at. Rob is not in the real estate industry to just make a commission, he genuinely cares about his clients and fought for us to get our deal closed, he truly went above and beyond our expectations. Rob is not only an excellent agent, he is hilarious, punctual, committed, knowledgeable, and genuine. I highly recommend Rob to anyone that is seriously considering buying a home or cottage.
I would highly recommend Rob for anyone looking to purchase a cottage. As first time buyers, we had a lot to learn - and we learned A TON! Rob took the time to truly understand what we were looking for while also helping us better understand it ourselves. Despite the countless property tours, he remained patient and never allowed us to consider a property he felt wasn't "right" for us. We knew we could trust him to look out for us. He was knowledgeable and professional and fun throughout. Knowing he was on our side made the process an absolute pleasure. He continues to check in and answer any questions we may have. In late 2018, my wife and I decided to list and sell our waterfront home that we had lived in for 15 years after retiring. Rob is fantastic!! Full stop. Actually, maybe we should provide some further context ... Even before Jennifer and I met with Rob we had the sense he was going to be the one to best represent us and our beautiful Canadiana cottage. Initial phone calls were promptly addressed, his authenticity was refreshing and he asked all the right questions. Our in-person experience with Rob validated our initial assumptions. Within 5 minutes Jennifer and I looked to each other with the “knowing nod” that Rob was the one for us. The next hour in our conversation put check marks across the board. Rob’s knowledge of the area, market conditions, buyers’ appetite, what we needed, etc., etc., were all spot-on. In any professional services relationship the bottom-line is trust.
