RUN! This place is absolutely disgusting.nnI wanted to cancel my reservation because the state of the room we were given made my skin crawl. I had to give a reason to booking.com so I was honest and said the room was filthy, there were bed bugs on the mattress and it stunk of cigarette smoke. The owner then refused to give me my refund until I lied and told booking.com to change my reason to just not wanting to be there. He screamed at me in the office, pointed and waved his hands around aggressively and slammed the door several times. As soon as I changed my reason and he got proof, he released the refund.nnThe representative from booking.com was on speaker while the owner screamed at me and she told me she was shocked at his behaviour and she was worried for my safety.nnI later called booking.com back and told them I would like to file a formal complaint about the motel and they have started that investigation.nn- The room stunk of cigarette smoke even though it said non-smoking right on the door.nn- There were stains, chunks of who knows what and questionable marks all over the walls. The floor hadn’t been cleaned. The bedding is SO old and terrible quality.nn- I pulled back all of the disgusting bedding and the mattress had bed bugs!nn- There was no ventilation and the AC unit was not in working order.nn- The bathroom was filthy and was something out of a horror movie.nn- The owner is rude, aggressive, openly sexist and has no idea how to run a motel. He manipulated the situation so that he wouldn’t have a bad review with booking.com which is why I think he has any good reviews.. he’s probably bribing people to give him 5 stars.nnRUNNNN!!!

Had a great time. Staff is amazing. the property offers a beautiful back yard overlooking the river. Community pool across the street to cool down I recommend this location.

This motel is so disgusting. Many of the rooms are long term rentals and the residents are outside drinking and smoking from morning to night.nnThe room that I was shown was really dirty… the sheets had sand on them so they could not have been washed between customers. There were BUGS on the mattress, black mold in the bathroom and the walls had so much dirt including chunks of what looked like food smeared down. The rooms say that they’re smoke free but they absolutely are not. The smell is so thick in those rooms!!nnThe owner is a very unprofessional man who doesn’t know how to run this business. The front office should be your first red flag - it’s DISGUSTING… thick layers of dust everywhere, things piled everywhere, stains on the walls and floors.. I could keep going but I’m sure you get the idea.nnThere are many other motels in the area. With the state that this motel is in, you’d be better off sleeping out on a sidewalk somewhere.

This is the kind of motel that you want to avoid at all costs.nnBed bugs on ALL of the furniture, filthy rooms with stains on the walls, floors, furniture and towels.. the non-smoking rooms stink so badly like cigarettes, the permanent and long term renters are outside their rooms from sun up to sun down with beers in hand, they don’t lock the room doors between customers so anyone can sneak into the rooms and do god knows what between paying customers… the list goes on.nnMost importantly, the owner is a very very aggressive man. His thick accent makes it very hard to understand him so I couldn’t tell you what he was screaming half the time but the second that you tell him you’re unhappy, he starts screaming and threatening you. He treats the female customers like dirt and his excuse is that this is just how his culture acts. The list for this guy goes on and on as well.nnPlease do yourselves a favour and use a different place. It’s unsafe for your health and well being.
