Riverside Park

Beautiful waterfront walkway and green space. The space can be enjoyed all year long. The Rotary Lights at winter are beautiful and fun and the flowerpots and fountains during summer are gorgeous. Great space to watch the sunset or attend the MoonTunes music sessions. Peaceful views of the Mississippi and the boats passing by. The statues and monuments here are well done and are lovely tributes. There is not a playground but the area is family and pet friendly.

I absolutely love going here. Any time of the year! The river is beautiful day or night, warm or cold. It offers many places to sit and find some peace or walk and enjoy some nature in downtown. The friendship garden is especially beautiful in spring/summer/fall. I have spent many days here finding some peace and reflection.

Great adventure to see all the Christmas lights and activities at the park. Great displays, music and live Nativity scenes that you can walk through or drive along the route to see. There was a fire pit area and an igloo built to have warming areas along the way. Especially great for little ones or older folks. A truly magical family event!

Loved this walk. A little chilly and windy yesterday but really pretty with the bridge in the background. Nice place for a photoshoot. Can’t wait to see the images on my camera. Really easy access and parking. If you have grandparents still around and they need a wheelchair , this is the perfect walk with them.
