Riverside Motel

I rate 5 stars on price. I stay there every year for the EAA Air Show. Beds are not modern and mattresses leave something to be desired. Just an inexpensive place to stay. Clean and by the Fox River.

I have stayed at this motel multiple times and I've enjoyed each stay, the rates are very cheap with a good surrounding atmosphere and the people are always very nice and very helpful. I definitely recommend a stay here. They offer nightly, weekly and monthly rooms at great rates.

Pros: affordable, mostly quiet, and humble cabin-like charm. Sonya the front desk agent is good and to the point. I paid $55 for one night. They offer tax exemption to nonprofits. Cons: no WiFi, no guest shampoo or conditioner, no cable and freezing channels, you really have to place pressure on shower knob to turn off water; half of a shower sliding door, subtle clonking noises from afar, have to flush toilet multiple times to get toilet paper flushed. Misc: kind of eerie at first because motel office door is locked and you have to ring doorbell to check-in; agent has a serious demeanor; and motel doors have chain lock and knob lock, which some may want more security.

I am a nurse who travels a lot from hospital to hospital and I stay at the Riverside Motel 6 to 10 times a year. I always enjoy staying there, it's quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean and the owners are cordial and inviting. I would recommend this motel to anyone who would like a quiet getaway.

Very easy and smooth reservation and checking in. I stayed here for 2 nights , room keeper was very polite and pleasant.
