2 Rivers Area Credit Union has opened up membership to anyone working in or living in Kankakee County.

Mission

The SDC Employees Credit Union will strive to provide financial and educational services to all members by analyzing their needs and wants in a cost effective manner and provide sound savings programs, increase personalized financial programs and offer reasonable rates on loans.

•You qualify to be a member of our Credit Union if you are an employee of Shapiro Developmental Center, Illinois Veterans in Manteno or Fox Development Center.
•State of Illinois employees, retirees, or immediate family members living or working in Kankakee County, IL.
•Spouses of persons who expired while within the field of membership.
•Persons retired as pensioner or annuitants from the above employer's.
•Family members of otherwise eligible persons; family members are defined as: spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew. This also includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptions. And "Household Members" are people living in the same residence as a single economic unit
