The only reason this restaurant doesn't have more reviews is because it's far from everything. If you don't mind driving a bit, you MUST try it. The food is so delicious. The view is stunning. The staffs are lovely.
Not far off the highway is this cozy restaurant. We were starved and the service was quick. Food was good. There is a nice short walkway along the marina that we enjoyed after we ate. There is a pub attached to the restaurant. The entrance is on the right of the parking lot. Next time I'll go there same kitchen. It's more my style. Casual with a few for sports. Good beer selection with friendly servers.
This place was very nice, great atmosphere, was not busy, great service, friendly staff! Other people were courteous with having their conversations at a low tone, so it was not loud or disruptive. I had the prime rib dip and my husband had the I think it was the shrimp roll. Very filling, the fries were made to perfection also! Crispy yet tender. If you are passing thru for a short visit, it's a must stop here!
WOW!! What a perfect evening. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. Here goes.... This is an absolute gem. Location is tucked away just off River Road next to the Massey Tunnel. We arrived at 530, promptly greeted and scanned for our Proof of Vaccination. The server was very welcoming and explained the specials and promotions. We started our night with a RH Caesar and an IPA pint of local brewery Four Winds. Apps were amazing Beef Carpaccio, and the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail and happy appy meatballs Next we all choose fish. Artic Char, Pacific Rockfish, and my daughter had kids meal of Halibut and Chips. The portions were perfect both our fish dishes were so fresh and flavors were so good. Finished it off with a piece of Tiramisu and Espresso Ice Cream cake. What a great experience from the picturesque moment we arrived to the impeccable service and the quality of the food.... I'm coming back again and again. Thanks. Pro Tip: Great little place to stop when the traffic is horrible. They have "Happy Hour" conveniently at the same time as the lane switch-over for the tunnel.. sitting in the Pub is much better than sitting in traffic
The service was friendly and quick and we enjoyed our food. We had the prime rib, calamari, dry ribs, coconut prawns & creme brule. All yummy but the calamari and creme brule were our favourites. Nice view if the river on the patio.
This is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay and very attentive staff. Food was excellent, wine selection was great, and the location is amazing. I'm not fully clear on whether it's members only, or whether that's only upstairs, worth checking first, as we were with friends that are members. Still, if you can get in, it makes for a lovely evening, and the prices are actually quite reasonable, better than a for-profit restaurant by a good bit Royal Vancouver Yacht Club is a not-for-profit.
Beautiful patio with a great view over the river. Nice shady tables with some sunny ones for the sun-worshippers. Great service from the friendly, pleasant server. It was very busy and they were under-staffed so it took a while for our food to come out. But who cares, it is a beautiful patio!
Excellent location, on the river, stunning sunset views to enjoy your dinner. Dine outside on deck, or inside in a cozy atmosphere. Food is really amazing and delicious. Good menu selections. Responsibly, priced. Excellent wine bottle prices. And, on River Nights wine bottles 1/2 price, with a great Chief Special dinner $20 Monday to Wednesday. Always a Chef special menu every day with select items. Staff are excellent and attentive. All around an excellent place to go if you're a party of 2 or 20. One of our favorite places in Ladner. Try it, you will like it.
2.5 stars. - took 45 minutes to get our appetizer...the server kept coming over and asking how it was, when we hadn't gotten it yet. So that was confusing. When it finally came it was on a piping hot plate but was completely cold in the middle. - they gave us a free dessert because of the extremely slow service. It was a nice favour. We got the creme Brulee. It was fine. - I got the turkey club. Boring, dry. Fries were okay. - cocktail was fine. I've heard really good things about this place and other than the nice patio. I was really disappointed and certainly won't be running back.
Awesome place for lunch, have been there a number of times. High quality food at reasonable prices. Cheryl offers top notch service. She does an awesome job.... hope her boss is generous with her
