This was once a great coffee shop! But under new ownership it has gone down the toilet. They use cheap, styrofoam cups instead of the Green Mountain paper cups that people liked. They got rid of the small size, forcing you to get a 16 oz cup of coffee even if you can't drink that much. No more discounted refills. They raised prices and took down the menus so you don't even know what they have any more or how much it costs. It's ridiculous. You can see when business owners don't care and these guys don't. Hopefully another local coffee shop opens up to replace this one. It's so sad. Customers notice when quality gets cut. Every time I go there it's something else and when I talk to other customers they say the same thing. Crappier cups. Credit card machine never working. Product out of stock or some cheap rip-off substitute being used instead. Pathetic way to run a business. Great way to lose customers.
One of THE WORST coffee shops I have been to in my life. I have never written a Google Review but felt the need due to the HORRIBLE ATTITUDE I got from the female barista inside. She immediately refuted what I wanted I've been in the coffee world for years and was so rude that I had to ask ask twice for her to stop making my drink and give me a refund. Then her attitude got even worse. Don't ever come here- the Dunkin Donuts nearby was better.
This is now under new ownership. It is now called "Historic Grounds Coffee Shop". Located on street level in Lattimore Hall college dorm for Cayuga Community College in downtown Auburn, NY. It also serves sandwiches. Near most banks in the area, 3 blocks from Holiday Inn on North St. Rte. 34.
Good specialty drinks. Try the Fresh Mountain High! I do miss the old Green Mountain paper cups, though. Felt more solid and were easier to open up to cool off when you were driving.
I did not like the customer service that I had received on 9/30/2015. The female behind the counter was rude and unpleasant. I strongly encourage that the service gets better so this place does not lose business. The coffee is great but one bad apple can ruin it for all.
Great place, they make coffee drinks to your liking. Bakery goods are delicious!
Alot of changes have been made fresh breakfast sandwiches made with real eggs lunch items and many pastries from Maggie's pies with new and friendly staff
Love there coffee and the different kinds they have and affordable prices too..
