I walked in for a drivers medical, I was lucky it was quiet, but the receptionist, Mel, was efficient, knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Dr Syed was also efficient and friendly. I had called in advance to check the doctor doing these exams was there, as previously there were many weeks when it wasn’t available.
Unfortunately not a full walk in any more. The doctor was really nice! I had a 1 time walk in appointment in under 45 minutes, he said I was the best and got all my issues solved in record time
Place is outdated very old and unpleasant and doctor was very busy and had no time at all, he was treating 4 patients at once walking in and out of rooms. He saw me for 2 minutes and that was it.
Fast, efficient, friendly, very knowlegable capable doctor. If you need your hand held and sweet words... do not go to this clinic. This clinic goes directly to the issue in a professional manner. We are so fortunate to have it and the doctor is extreemly dedicated with years of experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who does not expect a lollipop after the visit.
if you want to do immigration medical exam here, please run away and go to Vancouver!!! There is no Emedical system, only endless delays! The waiting time for X-ray will drive you crazy, almost 5 months, and people in clinic and hospital just watch on your money, they don't care what they do will affect a lot on your processing time of the PR application. The immigration medical qualification of this clinic is a complete joke! When you finish all the process of medical exam with this clinic, seven months have been gone!!! The comparison between one day and seven months, I believe anyone will make the right choice!!
I went here for a doctor’s appointment and I must say there is no confidentiality here. The receptionist just expect you to blurt out your personal information in-front of everyone in the waiting area. I met with the doctor who appeared to be a female. Dr Farhart. I have never met a doctor who lacks interpersonal skills as bad as she did. She does not listen and is very quick to recommend things. When it is time to ask question she presents as though is an inconvenience. She does not take the time to explain anything! It is unfortunate that kind of lack of basic social skills exist in healthcare. If you can go somewhere else, please save your energy and do not go here.
Been stuck going here as a walk-in for the past 3 years since moving to Whitehorse. The patient care front desk & doctor has been from terrible to mediocre at the very best, averaging poor. The amount of incompetence I've had to deal with really worries me, as these are the people that are supposed to be competent at health care. The front desk seems to have improved with new staff, but same doctors. I'm glad to be done with this place and I feel bad for anyone taking my spot. Good luck...
Truly, an unsettling experience. The other reviews stating the male doctor was less than collaborative is very true. I was ignoredliterally took a phone call in the middle of the consult berated and belittled all in one 20 minute consult. Also he made an underhanded comment about my clothes?, seriously. It was odd. Perhaps he was having a bad day, and yet from the other reviews it seems to be a common theme. I would avoid this place if given the chance, or seek alternative physicians as others have mentioned- I heard many times in the waiting room specific requests for the female physicians which should have tipped me off. Oh well!
The lady that sits at the back is always rude for no reason! If she hates that job she should quit. Instead of treating everyone like this
Went for a drivers medical. In and out in less than an hour. If you go at a busy time you can expect to wait a while, like any walk in, anywhere. Not their fault at all. Nice receptionists and doctor!
