Family Practice Unit

My husband, Dr. Gilgan, & I have had Dr, Morash as our physician for 11 years, and have been very happy with the care we have received. We have seen Dr. Morash for regular check-ups, always receiving the necessary tests and follow-ups. The care we’ve received from him during emergency visits, minor surgical procedures, and two hospitalizations has been second to none. We know that Dr. Morash has our health as his primary focus during each of the appointments we have with him. Thomas and the others at the front desk, are very professional and extremely helpful whenever we are scheduling appointments, requesting documentation, or asking questions. Thank you all for your excellence in patient care.

Beware! Charlatan Dr Jake Morash will write on formulas that he is your family Dr without ever doing anything for you. Then when you realize he blocks hospital blood test results, and you fire him, you will have a hard time to get any treatment from real Doctors. Notice there is no where in Yukon, medically approved UTI test. In any case ,the Hospital rather do knee surgery instead of fixing infections, because no one dares dealing with the pain until sepsis. Beware.

By far the worst family Practice in Whitehorse.This Doctor can thank his receptionist for this. Horrible service, you are made out to be an issue when visiting. Not welcoming at all constantly money grabbing for everything, missed appointments I never made, doctor notes I never received. By far the rudest receptionist I have every had to deal with. 50 years I’ve been going to Doctors , well not anymore thanks to this real piece of work. Now I can’t even find a Family doctor. Thanks to this women I refuse to see my doctor and now it’s been 3 years. On a waiting list for a new family doctor and not once has the Whitehorse medical Society called to tell me try this Clinic. It’s bad enough having to pick from less then a hand full of doctors. Then i find one I like , now I can’t see him because of his horrible receptionist. This Clinic in a way ruined my Perceptions on doctors. Don’t go here if you have a choice. Maybe if this Doctor seen what a horrible job this women has done for his Clinic, she might not be there much longer. fingers crossed!

Nice people, but their system is super frustrating and they are so hard to get a hold of. You HAVE to call them on the clock if you work a regular job due to their phone hours. They have no email or voicemail system so you have to keep calling until they pick up which isn't as often as I would hope. As for booking appointments, they give you NO reminders. Write your appointments down 20 times in every avenue if you have memory problems like me.

Great doctors, difficult to make appointments and can’t leave messages but I understand
