We love ordering takeout from riverside pizzeria. The meals are always delicious, with lots of options and hearty portions. The club sandwich and soprano pizza are family favourites.
Ordered calzone at the store on Saturday evening. Very busy, had to wait for about 30 minutes. Came surprisingly with big portions ; fries and dipping sauce of your choice. Fries were so good, crispy, the way I like. Not much meet inside the calzone, which you can choose 4 toppings. But for $15 dollars, it was good. I would like to go back and try something different from their menu.
Ordered for the first time tonight and it was so delicious! Their pizza was even better than expected. Love the fact they put a garlic ball, instead of just a dough ball on top. Nice touch and tasty.
Tasty pizza and poutine. Food: 4.0 / 5 Service: 4.5 / 5 I ordered a small thin crust tango special pizza pep, mushrooms, onions, black olives, bacon. Crust was indeed thin, soft yet chewy enough on the inside, with a good crisp on the outside. It also came with a garlic dough bread ball which was a nice bite to start with. The dips seem to be made in house based on the basic plastic container packaging. The garlic was the thin runnier type, and the southwest being the thicker mayo based dip. Both were pretty great. As for the poutine, it had the right amount of gravy and cheese curds for the fries. Unfortunately the cheese was too melted for my liking, where you can tell it isn’t the kind of strongly curded cheese usually used in great poutines. The fries were also mushy and broke easily when pried with the fork. But the overall taste of the poutine was there, so if you don’t mind a soggy soupy poutine, which some people actually prefer, then this will do it for you! Staff were friendly. It seemed like the employee that originally packed my order forgot to include the dips, which was noticed and brought up by another employee as they were about to bring it to me in the front, so props to them for catching that if so!
After moving to Ottawa we were disappointed with the pizza we had. All the pizzerias had very thick crusts as their regular pizza. The pizza was too dough-y. We then tried Riverside Pizzeria and were so happy! The pizza is amazing. The crust is just the right thickness. There are lots of toppings. Our favourite pizzas are the BBQ chicken and the Canadian. We also love the fries.
I recently moved to the area, and Riverside Pizzeria is my favourite place to order from! The pizza is delicious! the little dough ball they put on the pizza is like a little gift! The wings are great! I loved the Cinnamon balls! Im excited to try their pastas!
I called and asked them if the chicken parm was chicken breast or chicken burger , they tell me it's chicken breast , when it arrives it's clearly a chicken patty for a burger. It was a very basic question and you couldn't even answer it honestly, avoid ordering from here as they obviously cheap out . Complete trash. I also ordered a side of meatballs because this food is cooked by a "real italian" and they are store bought, the pasta is way over cooked , come on man do better , this is embarrassing to serve this quality of food .
We just ordered beef nachos but it's disappointing. The poor quantity of meat does not justify the additional $3, if we had 5 small pieces of beef it was fine. The quality of their nacho has changed too. Looks like there has been a change of ownership, we were regulars and clearly there are a few things that have changed and not for the good. We loved their pizza, we will try next time to see if the recipe has changed, hoping not otherwise we will change restaurants.
This is our second go with Riverside pizzeria again delicious consistent cooked correctly, not rushed. I HIGHLY recommend this pizzeria to anyone. We have to drive out of our way to get it but it is ssssoooooo worth the extra distance. Do yourself a favour and but you next and future pizza's from them.
Ordered an xl pepperoni pizza. This thing was loaded with cheese. It almost reminded me of a home made pizza. The pepperoni was not your standard pepperoni. It tasted like a thin cut salami. The kids enjoyed this pizza, but personally I thought the flavour was a tad on the mild side. I’d buy it again because my kids liked it.
