River City Games - West Edmonton Mall

Great selection, great staff. Prices are industry standard with not much on sale, however its exactly what you expect from a games store. Apparently they have a warehouse which has sales every once in a while. Will have to go check them out.

Solid store. Great place to find basically every board game ever lol. Has some out door stuff and pool tables and some foosball tables as well. Has a pretty decent size dart section as well and very helpful staff with a place to try them out. Only reason not 5 stars is kinda pricey but stuff is good quality.

Visited this place just while walking around in West Edmonton Mall, they have amazing collections games, loved their puzzles collection. I was looking for chessboard, but then I couldn't find the type I was looking for but they did have 2 options though. And they do have good variety for other games and is usually less crowded.

A great, small, local chain of game stores. Quality, variety, and good staff. Anytime I've been in any of their locations the staff always seem to be gamers themselves. Many years ago it was hard to track down great games, River City Games has fixed that. They fill all my gaming needs. Thanks guys.

This was the only store in the entire mall that would not honor my mask exemption. They didn't even allow me to provide them with it. It's hard enough having a medical condition, it's harder to be met by employees who do not show kindness or humanism in their interactions. The female employee was especially rude. I will be filing a discrimination complaint with the human rights commission. As I was told, they don't mind if you take your business elsewhere, so I suggest you do.

Don't mind the selection. Seemed a little pricey though. The staff was not overly personable or approachable.

One of the great stores in the city for a combination of board games, table games, and larger games such as darts, pool, foosball. Friendly knowledgeable staff at both locations.

Spent 6 months looking for a 4.5x9 used pool table in a style that fit our basement with no luck. Found one online and requested a quote and was told they River City had it on display at the WEM location South location too Sirena was very knowledgeable and helpful making my decision to buy new much easier. They had the exact one I wanted in stock and even with upgrades like special order felt and balls the turn around time for delivery and installation was quicker than expected. Happy that everything came as a package and upgrades were just the difference of price. The installers obviously love their job, took care with drop cloths, and were great to chat with. Family run company and everyone seems to care and take pride.

Very knowledgeable staff. I was looking for a light and easy game, something to take with me on camping trips. Both staff members gave me good advice since I wasn't sure what game to buy coming into the store. Most board games would be cheaper to buy online. But if you need one right away, or advice from staff this is the place to go.
