This place is awesome! Great food made with intention and creativity and great choice too!nnCould easily eat here three meals a day.nOur son said the food is awesome too.nnDairy free, Gluten free, vegan, full meat whatever, it's all here... come looking to enjoy.nnOh, and the people are super friendly too!!!
We enjoyed breakfast here, and I have to say how terrific the food was. I am Gluten Free and there were a ton of terrific options. The ingredients were local and fresh, and the quality of the meal was excellent. My son told me it was the best breakfast he had ever had he had the LumberJack Wrap and I felt the same way about the Savory Waffle gluten free. I would give it 6 stars if 5 wasn't the max!
Ordered breakfast to go. The cheese scone breakfast sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Tasted so good. Definitely worth the money. Will come back next time I'm in Powell River
Looks like little cafe from outside but expansive and cozy on inside. I got a breakfast yam and bean burrito and it was delicious! And massive! I'll easily get another breakfast out of it tomorrow. Plus I was pleased seeing their cute environmentally responsible paper cups and lod for the side of sour cream. Staff were pleasant and coffee was hot and flavourful. I'll easily cone again next time I'm in town. I'm not vegan but it had delicious choices to try for vegans and non.
Absolutely love this place, they have the most epic breakfast sandwich with locally sourced everything! So delicious. The staff are fabulous and always so welcoming. I’ve been coming here for years and there are people who have been working at River City the whole time. Such a rare find in any hospitality business.nnTheir coffee always comes home with me for the days I can’t make it in for a cup in person. It’s the best in town and is roasted in PR. Support local, get a breakfast sandwich and check out this chill spot! You can’t go wrong, and if you’re a gluten free person you’ll be blown away by their bakery.
