The ossobuco was amazing and the house wine, that they import from Italy, was something special. Incredibly friendly service and everything just fit together. Best experience I have had in a long time. Price was incredibly reasonable for the quality.
Service: I was there for my work christmas party and the waiters that night were amazing but shoutout to Tanya efficient, great people's skills, Franco and Dante at the bar . They are very thoughtful, fast, friendly and respectful. All three of them made my experience at the Il Cenone fantastic. I wanted to put a fruit in my sparkling wine, there was no lichi or no strawberries but Franco got me some cherries. Also the Dj who was very collaborative Food: Get the Beef Robocco, so tender and flavourful but the veggies next to it wasn't very much appealing The salad dressing was a bit too salty, Franco brought me another salad with no dressing and when I mixed both together, the sodium was now balanced. We had a rose pasta, very good The calamari was okay but can be better. Ask te chef to work on getting them Crispy outside and to add more Taste to the batter The mini pizza slice with the calamari rolled around it is a delight it should be an amuse bouche as a whole I am not really a cake person but the cake was very fluffy and tasty Aesthetic: early 2000's style A remodeling would help the business or a vacuum cleaning service of their chairs. I had a white dress on and where I've sat down on my dress is more or less like an off white coffee Vegetarian options: Just let the waiters not and they will definitely guide you to the best options for your dietary restrictions Kid-friendliness: Yes Parking: If there's no parking, park in the adjacent streets
I drive by this place all the time on my way to work and although I've seen it for decades... It's discreet enough to blend in the background. Finally my wife and I decided to give it a try and boy are we happy that we did! This place is a hidden gem. The owner seems to be the poster boy for "having never worked a day in your life ... " Because Dante loves what he does, and it shows. The ossobuco was excellent, my wife had pasta with Montanara sauce and it too was excellent. Laurent, our waiter, was very friendly yet professional. He knows his job, and he does it well. Prices are very reasonable! Parking: It's located next to a very quiet dead end street. Street parking is relatively abundant. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair entrance is on the side of the building
A delightful place, excellent service from the host Mr. Dante Barile. And the best of all was the food, very delicious. 100% recommended.
Polished and professional italian dishes. Family restaurant. Great service. Expen$ive however this is current context we live in for this level of eatery. Pasta, appetizers, fish, veal, all done right. Grazie e buon apetito.
Try thier special reserve red wine and the chefs special. Well worth it. Truly my favourite date night idea.
Love this family run italian resto, definitely would recommend for home style cuisine in a cozy atmosphere! A hidden gem
Fabulous food and reasonably priced!! Cozy atmosphere!!
Excellent food, and fantastic service. We were very well taken care of.
We had a total of 2 glasses of wine but were charged for 4 we pointed it out to the owner and when he corrected it he charged for 3 so he had to correct it again and than he wanted us to pay $19 service fee in cash for a $49 meal for 2 people! Food was okay but it looks that this is something that probably has been done before and gotten away with it! So if you go there check your bill!
