Check the business hours before you head over here Rising Sun is a small business that sells martial arts supplies mouthguards, videos, books, clothing, jiu jitsu gis, belts, boxing and MMA gloves, wraps, head gear, etc When I walked in, it was sweltering hot :P The guy working was great! He greeted me enthusiastically and offered assistance. I was there looking for new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gis. He showed me what he had in stock only three brands, Reevo, Hayabusa and a GSP Hayabusa specialty gi in various colours. Unfortunately, I already owned three of the four variations of gi. I needed to pick up a white belt for a friend who was starting BJJ that evening and the guy working did his best to accommodate and help me find the correct size. Excellent service, poor selection for Jiu jitsu gear, unfortunately. I'll pop by from time to time to see if the stock has updated.

I think it's the best martial arts supply store in Edmonton, we are buying from them frequently for FRIENDLY EAGLE Kyokushin Karate School. Keep it up, D and M !!

Martial arts store run by a martial artist. Good selection of kickboxing, tkd, karate, and kung fu supplies. Practice weapons, tactical equipment and survivalist gear also available.

I have never been to this business before, nor will I after having read that one of it's owners believes that "racial profiling works". Perhaps keeping beliefs about touchy subjects such as racial profiling should not be thrown about all willy-nilly all over Facebook when you're trying to run a business, Mr. McGuire.

Always go to Rising Sun when we need some last minute Uniforms or Belts! Always very helpful, very accommodating to school owners very knowledgeable about martial arts and very thing they sell.

Really the only martial arts supply in Edmonton. The owners are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Oddly enough, I did not know this place existed until recently. They have a pretty good selection and will order things in if they don't have it.

Bought a couple karate uniforms from them they helped us out with sizing .
